I'd love to see Fury vs Whyte or AJ vs Wilder but something tells me that these guys will not be hanging around for too long, especially Fury.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What a sad indictment of modern boxing if these guys don't fight each other. If you take Fury, AJ, Wilder, Usyk and Whyte as the five top Heavyweights the amount of times these guys have fought each other is nowhere near enough. Admittedly Usyk is the new kid on the HW block but the others have all been around for many years already.
That's boxing unfortunately. What we witnessed on Sunday was exactly why, at it's best, boxing remains undefeated. Too bad it doesn't occur more often.
🗣 Tyson Fury - “I have two fights left out here (US) but I’d love to bring a world title fight back to Manchester, It has always been a dream of mine to fight at Old Trafford. The last fight there was Eubank versus Benn in 1993 and that was massive. I’m really happy Ronaldo’s back at Old Trafford - but this town ain’t big enough for the both of us!
If I lived in Manchester it would be a problem. But I’m an hour up the motorway in Morecambe so he’s got plenty of distance.” 😂

Pre-Fury fights, Wilder always used to boast hard about his unbeaten record and how no-one could come close to him, but when I look at the names on his record, who has he fought that you can genuinely say is a top heavyweight? 80% of the people he's fought I don't even know who they are and the ones I do know, weren't that good anyway.
Bermane Stiverne? Not very good.
Eric Molina? Lol.
Malik Scott? Mediocre.
Chris Arreola? Nothing special.
Dominic Breazeale? Not that good.
Audley Harrison? Was 42 years old and retired after.
The only respectable boxer he fought pre-Fury was Luis Ortiz and even he's not had age on his side when they fought both times.
No point being 40-0-0 or whatever against journeymen or people on the cusp of retirement.

That's the thing isn't it, if Wilder had fought the same fighters Joshua or Whyte had fought, he might have 1 or 2 more losses on his record. Even Ortiz was comfortably outboxing him for a lot of their fights, and if he wasn't so old, I reckon he could/would have got up from that knock down in the second fight.

Fury saying that about AJ was a few months ago when it looked like they were going to fight next. The video has been rehashed recently and made to look like something Fury said after last weekend's fight. It wasn't.

If AJ loses to Usyk, the Fury fight is gone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
AJ would probably still ask for a 50/50 split
AJ needs to employ Apollo Creed as his trainer before taking on Usyk or Fury, otherwise it'll be another long night for him.
Mr "you're doing great, awesome footwork and head movement" McKraken isn't taking him anywhere decent, I don't think.
AJ needs to get involved with the Kronk gym and re-learn how to smash opponents to bits. Judging by recent fights he's lost that ability.

I'm sure he's contemplating sacking whoever did write it.
Great performance Savannah Marshall. Good seeing Eubank Jr as well. Looks ready for some really big fights now.
