Interesting.

I think it certainly won't hurt him to get in contact with other trainers and see what their thoughts and philosophy are. As far as the trainers mentioned, I think Reynoso would be a good fit if he could speak fluent english, Virgil Hunter wouldn't be ideal, as his style works for more defensive minded fighters. Ronnie Shields isn't bad. I'd like to see AJ maybe get in touch with Teddy Atlas, Abel Sanchez, Buddy Mcgirt.

I honestly think Adam Booth would fit AJ well. Booth does well with physically explosive and talented fighters like Haye and AJ has similar attributes.

Looks like Ronnie Shields might be the guy that AJ is going with.

Sometimes AJ sounds like a novice boxer learning the game with some of the things he says. He wants a new trainer but doesn't want to let McCracken go and already brought in more people after his loss to Ruiz. I feel like he needs his big entourage and team around him to keep telling him positive things and he'd struggle without them, but for his career maybe he just needs a fresh start and let a lot of the old people go.

He sounds like he's keeping his team but is going to work with other trainers too. That doesn't sound great to me. Surely Mckracken should step down and allow someone else to take the lead. He can still be involved but not as the main man.

Yeah the Gibbs v Farrell fight was decent. Only three rounds though so not sure if that's a different result in a 12 round bout.
