Agree.

Great fighter in his time but the undefeated record is his main claim to fame.

I don't think he'd beat many of the top heavyweights of recent eras.

I think he's underrated if anything. He was small and not a HW by today's standards. He was far from technically great and had a very small reach. But he was a nightmare personified in the ring. He just kept coming and would keep breaking you to bits until you gave up or were knocked out. His record is no fluke and he beat some excellent fighters including Archie Moore, Jersey Walcott and Ezzard Charles. All very underrated fighters themselves in fact. Obviously beat Joe Louis as well of course, albeit an older Louis.

That's a fight I'd have loved to have seen and it's such a shame that they just missed each other in terms of eras. I've often wondered what would have happened if they had fought. I certainly don't think it would have been one sided though.

Fury ducking Usyk and then trying blame Usyk for ducking him has actually made me consider quitting following this sport I've loved for decades. Hopefully it's just a phase I'll snap out of but that's where I'm at right now and I certainly won't talk about or have anything to do with Fury again. He's dead to me at this point.

Hope so - cos post Ruiz loss AJ has been overly cautious, and not the same fighter we were all excited for a few years ago.
