I really really respected Fury when he came back from mental health issues and depression to beat Wilder, but quickly went off him again!
Something was really off for me when he ducked fighting AJ twice?
And now he’s done it to Usyk too and still giving it the biggen…
There’s only one dosser and that’s fury!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The MH and depression were just a way out from his doping charge which he magically got away with.

If Usyk beats Fury, Fury is still the A side.
It's therefore understandable why 70/30 is offered in the rematch.
That's your logic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
thats just one dimension of determining the splits, dont know why you ignored the rest
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm not sure if you are being intentionally obtuse here.
I asked why a 70/30 split is understandable.
You said: "cos the reasons I gave, Fury A side, had done more in HW, wasnt fastracked to a title shot."
I asked, by that logic, a 70/30 in a rematch is also understandable:
You said: "No cos Usyk will have ALL the belts, will be the better fighter, will be the A side in terms of being the champ and Fury the challenger.Fury still the bigger name and brings in the PPV' buys."
Do you see how the above doesn't make sense?
In the same sentence, you said Usyk would become the A side in terms of being champion but Fury would still be the bigger name and bring in PPV buys.
I'll say it again, if Fury is the A side going into the fight, he remains the A side, even if he loses.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I hav e never denied he wouldnt always be the a-side.
being the aside just means you have the bigger fanbase and bring in the most money. its a huge factor when doing purse splits but the be all and end all.
LIke I said the reason I think Usyk would be entitled to 50/50 in the rematch is cos he will hold all the belts in the division, already beat his current challenger, will have gained in popularity again.he will be the no1 boxer in the world.
All this equates to the fact that Fury prob has the bigger fanbase and brings in more buys in the rematch still. so 50/50 is fair in the rematch.
70/30 to Usyk is still better than mandatory and whilst I agree he deserves more, its still an acceptable offer.
We'll have to agree to disagree on the above.
One thing that I'm sure we can all agree on, is the blame for why this fight has not happened, lies solely with Mr Tyson Fury.

of which you get no arguments from me.
Im not saying that I agree with what is going on ion terms of splits, but I can see the logic behind it and there is sense to it.
If I had it my way if both fighters have titles and its a fight to unify them them always should be 50/50.
the 70/30 offer to Usyk for the rematch even if he wins is farcical IMO.
Warren says its the same deal he agreed to fo AJ.
Well prior to the AJ fight Usyk didnt have AJ on his record twice and didnt have all those shiny belts.
Iv never been the biggest fan of fury, love him in the ring , no time for him outside it.
One of the most full of $hit boxers in recent times IMO.
Fury coming out shouting today saying it's all Usyk's fault. What a joke Fury is these days, nobody is buying his BS. Had a lot of respect for him before but I'm now seeing him for what he is. Just vacate so others can fight for undisputed.

Difficult to say. I think Fury's chin and his ring IQ would make it a tough fight for Liston but all it takes is one shot from Sonny and the fight could end. I just believe the size difference and clinching would help Fury get the UD.
Liston had a huge reach and enormous hands, plus probably the best , heaviest jab in HW history
I'm going for Liston

Agree.
Great fighter in his time but the undefeated record is his main claim to fame.
I don't think he'd beat many of the top heavyweights of recent eras.
