DeGale won, UD.

117-110 and 114-113 on the other 2 scorecards. Won the last 2 rounds on all 3 cards. Getting the job done, or a very lucky boy who’s lost his edge....

Kell took on tougher fights in two of his last 3 that Floyd did in all his career.

Floyd ducked Kell when they were welterweight champs.

its a shame to see whats happened to the super middle weight division

this division used to be the creme de la creme of divisions now its awful

there is no one exciting to take this division by the scruff of the neck like AJ is with Heavy or Golovkin is with Middle.

I used to rate de gale and he proves yet again thet hes very solid on foreign soil however as he ages i fear he is not the quality fighter he once was.

So Hearn has supposedly offered Wilder a flat fee of about $12.5 million dollars to take this fight while AJ stands to potentially earn several times that amount if they fight.

Starting to think that Hearn and AJ don't want this fight at all. Even Parker was offered about a 30% split and no way is he a bigger star than Wilder, especially not in the States.

Wilder isn't going to accept that so we're not getting this fight anytime soon, if at all. Pathetic.

No chance mate. Eddie has said on video that he'll earn around the £12m-15m mark.

Oscar

Eddie is trying squeeze as much as he can out of the negotiations with Wilder. It's in his interest to understate the purse he paid Parker so he can get Wilder for as little as possible. He said on video we're offering Parker around 15m. Which he said was roughly a 25% split. Can't see the Parker team accepting around 3m.

Deontay Wilder is the WBC Heavyweight Champion of the World and a very big name in the States. He doesn't have to conform to anyone's demands.

This really doesn't have much to do with A side or B side. It has to do with giving Wilder a fair offer. And a flat $12.5 million dollar offer (if it's true) is not a fair offer if AJ stands to earn much much more than that.

Nothing to do with A or B side. AJ may well be the A side but that doesn't mean that Wilder has to conform to all of AJ's demands as you're saying.

Wilder is the WBC Champ and has the most important and prestigious Heavyweight belt. He's also becoming a huge name in the States, if he isn't already. Facts that certainly matter.

As for AJ being a worldwide star I think that you're overestimating his worldwide fame somewhat. Obviously here in the UK where he fights he's a megastar but don't overestimate his worldwide fame.

AJ's world title unification fight with Parker only got 400,000 views in the US and that was on the equivalent of Freeview TV.

And of course fairness plays a part. If Wilder stands to earn $12.5 million while AJ stands to earn potentially several times that amount then there is no chance that Wilder will accept the fight.

Why would he? That's probably more like a 20/80 split at very best if the fight generates as much as it's expected to.

AJ said he’d take 60-40
