Yes I've been watching boxing for many years and I never said that Wilder having the WBC belt makes him a bigger star or better fighter than AJ. Not sure what I've said to give you that impression either. I already acknowledged that Wilder is the B side here.
What I said was Wilder having the WBC belt means that he doesn't have to "conform to all of AJ's demands" which is what you said.
Wilder doesn't have to do anything if he doesn't want to, including not taking this fight if the offer isn't right for him. Regardless of whether he's the A or B side.
And no AJ doesn't deserve to earn eight times more for this fight just because Wilder has been earning 1.5 - 2 million for his other fights. That's not how it works. A fair split is fair and I'm inclined to agree with the above post that Wilder getting between 35-40% split would be fair.
Either way it's so dull that we fans have to talk about money. I could care less about it, I just want to see the best contests like we get in every single other mainstream sport apart from this one.

Don’t know if Hearn is bluffing or not, but he’s said that if the fight doesn’t happen this year there’s a good chance it won’t be for all the belts as Joshua would have failed to fulfil one/some of his mandatories and he’ll be stripped of those belts.

Well on the assumption that Joshua vs Wilder doesn’t happen next he’ll surely have to face one of those mandatories. Would hope that the other doesn’t set some unrealistic demand or strip the belt from him, although they’d be well within their rights to if it gets to approaching 3 years without a particular mandatory defence.
Just watched the wilder vs Ortiz fight, my goodness if Ortiz had any type of gas tank the wilder hype train would have been derailed, counted over 2 dozen slaps to the back of the head by wilder and wtf was that stoppage at the start at rd 9 about, almost as bad as aj ripping at his gloves with his teeth

Povetkin is the WBO mandatory and Pulev is the IBF mandatory, which is why I can see one of those fights happening next.
Meanwhile, Whyte has earned a mandatory spot against Wilder yet Wilder continues to dismiss him as an opponent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with you RE Whyte. Would love that to happen too.

I don't think Whyte is mandatory. He's no.1 ranked but until WBC enforce an eliminator or install Whyte as mandatory, Wilder doesn't have to fight him
Last I heard Dominic Brezeale is mandatory for the WBC belt.

Usyk has done his elbow apparently final of the WBSS is off.
So we suffered that horrendous IFL intro for months of " ON MAY 11TH FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER 4 BELTS WILL BE ROUND ONE MANS WAIST IN THE CRUISERWEIGHT DIVISION " for no reason
Next 3 fights looking like this
Wilder v Breazeale
Whyte v Pulev
AJ v Povetkin
Nothing too exciting there

They won't be fighting this year. At the very earliest next year. Don't be surprised if you have to wait until 2020/21 for this fight though.
