It seemed like a performance that was too good to be true for Garcia against Haney and now it seems like it wasn't after failed drug tests.

Such a shame that this sport continues taking steps back.

anyone who took anything from that Garcia fight is naive IMO.

he didnt make weight, didnt even try therefore as far as I am concerned it was already a no contest. Haney is no saint in terms of PEDs he worked with Vic Conteh prior to this fight also so there is a huge red flag over him IMO also.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Boxing can give you surprises like that though. Even with his added weight it was still a surprise to see Haney put down that easily and so often, but obviously this helps explain things IMO more than the added weight does.

Haneys game plan was all wrong, however that could be a result of getting concussed in the 1st round. We have seen Haney get proper wobbled before in the past.

dont get me wrong prior to the fight I thought Garcia would have been a threat for 4/5 rounds then get shut out.

as other pro's have brought up losing those last few pounds are the hardest and take the most out of you. Haney looked very drained at the weigh in, and looked like the cut wasnt easy, had proper ghost face. that most likely would also have had a say in his punch resistance. Also add in the fact that there was no rehydration clause so Garcia could blow up even more.

Garcia defo took some life lessons from the Davis fight and rest assured Haney will take a life lesson in the same way.

John Fury embarrassing himself and the sport again, headbutting the smallest bloke on Usyks team today (and looking like he came off worse somehow).

Why are any of those cowards in Team Usyk defending their home land? Wimps

At this point, is there anyone that doesn't think he is pathetic and a clown?

exactly

I drove past a van on the A55 today with Ukraine licence plates
The fella driving it looked about 30...I also thought why he wasn't on the front-line

he was almost certainly a draft dodger

Exactly, sees some 8 stone midget who just happens to be standing next to him and decides to nut him.

The sooner John Fury is rid from all of these boxing events the better. Absolute embarrassment.

I used to like fury but that press conference, he just started acting like a cha v who just left the pub completely wasted, wanting to fight someone.
Is "sausage" an offensive word?
His press conferences he's usually quite articulate and funny but this one just looks like a priiick, him and his family.

The closer we get to this fight the more I'm starting to think that there's a definite skill gap between these two fighters and that it will become evident on the night.

Keep hearing this good biggun beats a good littlun line. Let's get the facts straight though there isn't a massive size difference between these two fighters. Fury is never 6'9 in a million years. He's 6'7 max, maybe even 6'6.5.

So while he undoubtedly has a height, weight and reach advantage over Usyk this isn't David vs Goliath. And I think this fight will prove that an elite Heavyweight beats a very good Super heavyweight.

still cant fecking call this one. Fury is on the slide, if he has been able to curtail this with how serious he is taking it then he may still have the tools to deal with Usyk.

You just never know with Usyk however, no idea how his style is gonna affect the other fighter.

I will 100% be whacking 20 quid or so on a draw, too many factors point to it being one whether its deserved or not for me... This has Canelo GGG 1 vibes (in a betting sense for me).

I just cant call the fight at all however.
