Only way AJ Fury was happening was if Fury loses

We've seen Wilder hit father time and now we have seen AJ hit father time. Time for a new era of boxing.

If Joshua had won and Fury had lost it likely could of been AJ Usyk 3

So if anything AJ loses has increased the chance of AJ Fury

I know the spin from Hearn will be AJ got hit once by one big punch and that it would be different next time if AJ lands the first blow..

But it was so comprehensive for me, I just don't see a way back for him. I'd also just rather see this Dubois take on Fury or Usyk than that Joshua tbh.

Fair play to Joshua in terms of his career. Little amateur pedigree and won olympic gold and two spells as wotld champion including a great fight v Klitschko. But i think thats it now. He did well to rebound from Ruiz and then Usyk, but no idea how long the path would be from here.

When Fury loses to Usyk he retires. AJ isn’t the money fight anymore.

Regardless of your views on how good or overrated AJ is the lesson from tonight and Wilders decline is you need to get these fights on when you can and not wait around for magical paychecks and hyping it to the point of exhaustion

AJ should have fought Wilder six or seven years ago and Fury three or four years ago. Dubois wasn't happy to wait around for them all to get their ducks in a row and has closed the curtain on those match ups.
