I'd rather not play and English side as this is Europe, but at the same time we had some great two legged ties over the years v Chelsea, Arsenal and United in the Europa.

We missed our chance to play united in the final in was it 2008? The year Terry slipped in the final, that would have been mental playing them in a CL final.

I've seen a few Spurs fans writing off Firmino last few days too. This despite the best form of his career. Not one has managed to spell his name correctly either so make of that what you will.

I'd rather have him in OUR TEAM than Kane.

I highlight our team because he's what makes us tick. You wouldn't get that from Kane who isn't as good at coming deep and providing assists and creating play as Firmino, even though he's clearly a better striker.

I don't get this view that spurs would dismantle us again just because you did earlier in the season. We were in poor form and couldn't recover from a Lovren horror show that left us 2-0 in 15 minutes. We slowly got back into the game but that 3rd goal at half time completely killed us off. Funnily enough it would have been very similar to your game against Juventus had Higuain scored that penalty.

The side you'd play now is very different to the one you played 6 months ago.

As a child Spurs were always a team I admired, from the kit, to the style of play, Villa, Archibald, Perryman, Hazard, Ardiles, Hoddle, always cheered them on.
Maybe we get worse as we get older, maybe its social media interaction, or maybe its just all sandys fault ?

I always admired Spurs, then got annoyed when they dared to nick our 4th spot under Redknapp.

I think the argument is that Spurs fans seem to have an arrogance (some, not all) which seems rather unjust as they've not actually acheived anything.

Same can be said of us.
