Bellerin criticizes ArsenalFanTV.

You can be sure now that all the AFTV regulars will talk a load of shiiiiit about Bellerin now. Until Robbie gets him on the show for more clicks and they form an orderly line just to lick his balls. Like they did with Gary Neville.

posted on 16/2/18

Players have no business going on fan forums unless they want their egos bruised badly. We are fans and we are entitled to say what we want, and that includes calling players overpaid spoilt beetards. Bellerin has a lot of growing up to do.

Anyway the true fans part Bellerin went OTT. Bellerin doesn't know them. They are just voicing an opinion and yes the worse the results the more views it gets but people are not going on that to just troll Arsenal to get views for themselves. They would love Arsenal to win every game.

They do make money out of it though, that is an undeniable truth.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course they do, they are sponsored by Ladbrokes and have nearly 700k subscribers. Some of their vids have been watched over a million times and are loaded with ads, and I wouldn't be surprised if they had their own website and merch. You start generating that much YouTube traffic and general interest and you'd be a mug if you weren't making money out of it. Robbie might be perceived by some as a cuuunt, but you can tell he's not stupid.

Well he wouldn't pay attention to them either and get on with his job, the same way the likes of Modric and Bale do.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah. He would do the talking on the pitch like Bale or Modric (voted the worst signing by fans in his first season and then becoming a fan favourite). He won't publicly question the sincerity or support or devotion of his own fans. There are probably a few players with the balls to do so in clubs like that. Prats like Bellerin certainly wouldn't be among. He gets to do that in a club like Arsenal were the fans are pretty much conditioned to be belittled and condescended to by the board ("thanks for your interest in our affairs"), manager and players.

What a club.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He didn't question the sincerity or support or devotion of his owns fans. He questioned the integrity of a show that is out to get hits and make money.

Bellerin's problem is he thinks he is untouchable. Like so many Arsenal players he was amazing as a youngster and has failed to really develop a lot. With Debuchy gone and nobody else to really speak of, he also has no competition and no reason to do anything else but pick up a paycheque and stagnate while criticising those who criticise him for doing it.

I can see good points from both sides of the argument. However, the clincher is the fact that the same people get interviewed every week. It’s almost like they’ve been turned into caricatures. If it was really about giving the fans a voice, we’d be seeing different Arsenal fans every week, and there wouldn’t be videos titled, “Troopz Rant”. Arsenal Fan TV is a good idea turned bad, by the allure of hits and money. It is essentially a parody show.

The only entertainment that it provides is for fans of other clubs, to the point where they are actively looking for the videos to be uploaded after a bad result for Arsenal.

The team have been an embarrassment this season, though.

Damn, son. You shouldn't be foaming in the mouth after 1am in the morning just because you're still wound up about your illiteracy getting exposed. That was days ago. It's a new day. Wipe the foaming dribble off your mouth and move on. Educationally challenged people still live productive lives

Always instructive about one's insecurity and level of intellect when reduced to juvenile, schoolyard taunts about mastuurbation, attributing your repressed thoughts to someone else. Were you mastuurbating alone on valentine's night?

I don't think anyone here is defending AFTV's phony reality tv gimmicks. It''s about the fact a player (a rubbish one for that matter) has the gall to ridicule and insult devoted paying fans of the club, who travel around England and Europe to watch his incompetence, and question their devotion because they don't devote fawning loyalty to frauds like him.

That's the issue. That figures like Ronaldo who are a million times the player he is can be ridiculously jeered and whistled by their own fans in their own stadium and take it with grace and dignity and respect and the mediocre brat who has never even been booed before can attack a TV fanzine because they are critical of the team.

Absolute nonsense. When he was getting called out last year with "your not fit to wear the shirt" he spoke of how upset he was and responded positively. As DJ said he's not criticising all our fans just criticising a YouTube channel that makes money and exploits the club by directing negativity towards the players.

Do you think aftv is a positive? How many times has your spurs mates used it to take the mic out of you?

DJ how do you work out what team each viewer of a YouTube video supports? If AFTV feeds of failure, and it’s consistently growing that must mean Arsenal are consistently failing no? You still backing Wenger godfather?

There's an argument to say that failure is exaggerated as a result of this stupid channel. If any other team loses or draws a game you can guarantee the reaction will be less dramatic than these clowns who have been handpicked for their extreme reactions. All of this is of a detriment to the image of the club. Oppo fans take the mic out of these idiots extreme reactions rather than the results themselves

My honest opinion, last two seasons have been poor. Last year was good to get the cup, turned a poor season to an ok season (gave us one over the tiny totts too). this season has been desperately poor so far. Can't really understand why we have second best home record but then an abysmal away record. Glad we are spending big now as I find it unfair we judge Wenger on his performance without the financial backing other clubs get. Find it hilarious he gets compared to pep and mourinho who have spent several times more. Even the likes of poch and Klopp who have better big game performances and results and a similar spend to us and are lauded to the sky still win less trophies.

I don't judge mid season knee jerk to particular results. I didn't come on here saying we are the best team in the league when we battered spurs at home just like I didn't come here last week when we lost to them away. Ask me if i back him when the season is done and I can assess our position and cup haul. Europa, and league Cup would be a good season if it meant we went on to buy a top cb and replace xhaka in the summer and do well the next season. If we won nothing and didn't finish top four, It would be time for wenger to go at the end of his contract (unless he genuinely challenged for the league next season)

I've been an AFTV fan from the start.

A couple of enterprising fans got a small group of nutters, stuck a camera in their face, and built a global brand in the process.

Any fan or player who finds himself nursing ulcers out of this, ought to take a long hard look at themselves.

Fair enough did you think we were gonna challenge this season? Do you think Poch and Klopp get more praise than Wenger because relative to where their respective clubs were when they took over, there has been noticeable improvement? Whereas we are gradually get worse season by season if points tally is anything to go by.

posted on 17/2/18

Klopp and Poch are praised because they are improving the team every season on (compared to the big boys) a shoe string budget.

They may bottle it when it matters as far as trophies are concerned but if they continue to progress the way they are they are gonna win a trophy eventually. We got to countless cup semis/finals but we were gonna win a trophy eventually

It’s (maybe) unfair to compare him to Pep and Jose as they are 2 cheque book managers but Klopp and Poch are showing him up big time

Do any of you actually watch AFTV?

They give airtime to anyone who wants to voice their opinion. I remember they even asked me if I wanted to go on after we got trounced at anfield earlier in the season but I said no.

It's not just the same people who get interviewed, but it's the same people who get the most clicks, and who get the bigger "push", so to speak. That's just how it works.

In regards to DT, his videos are the only ones I listen to. Yeah he gets emotional sometimes, as we all do. But he actually makes decent points. The others can barely even spell their own name.

-----------------------------------------------

No surprise to see you revealing yourself as an ignorant, dribbling moron as always.
Liverpool under Klopp have spend comfortably less than we have and he has still improved them to a top 4 side in that time while we've gone backwards. Yes, he has gotten plenty of deserved criticism for many LAL moments with Liverpool, but he has certainly taken them in a positive direction and the average Liverpool fan strongly backs him.

Even more moronic is the Pochettino claim. He took over a team worse than Arsenal. He spent vastly less on transfers. His team have a wage bill (which accounts for most of a squad's expenses) a little over half of Arsenal's. Yet, he competed for a title he had no right competing for (which we haven't done since '07/08) earning 86 points that would have been enough to win the league most seasons. He is going to finish above Arsenal for the 2nd season running. He will not embarrass himself in Europe getting hammered 10-2 by the big boys. He has won 3 NLDs in the league and lost just once. He has clearly impacted the individual performances of many Spurs players while regression or stagnation is all that seems to happen with players under Wenger these days.

You can keep kidding yourself about our shoe-string budget just because teams like the Manchester clubs and PSG throw around stupid money. The reality is Arsenal run one of the top 4 budgets in the England and one of the top 8 in Europe. Our budget for the last few years has been roughly on par, give or take or bit, with Chelsea in England and Bayern in Europe. Yet Chelsea won 2 league titles in the last 3 years under short-term managers and Bayern have been about Europe's best side other than Madrid over the last 5 years while we get comedians like you acting like having a budget in England's top 4 and Europe's top 8 makes us like Lleyton Orient.

Making pathetic money excuses for a team with a £200m wage bill that get utterly annihilated by Bayern. I'd bet Lleyton Orient could give us a far harder game in a 2-legged tie than getting humped 10-2.

Perspective of a rival fan:

Think I first became aware of the channel in 2014 when you lost 3-2 at Stoke after being 3-0 in about 25 mins. Obviously someone shared it on social media and it just snowballed from there...

Yes of course it can’t be denied that they make money from their own clubs failings, but it’s not their fault their club is failing! If we’re being honest, we’d all love to get paid to watch our team home and away so I won’t begrudge them for doing so. To say they’re not ‘real fans’ is ridiculous if you ask me, it’s like when fans get upset at pundits who used to play for their team criticising them; you call what you see, and if what you see is garbage then I’d expect people to say so.

Admittedly I only watch it when arsenal lose and I only ever watch DT and Troopz as they provide the most entertainment so I completely get the ‘clickbait’ argument that DJ and others have alluded to, but they do often talk sense among the swearing and the “blood... fam... you understand?” Out of curiosity, how many interviews with Randoms make it to air?

As long as Arsenal don’t make some of the changes that some of the regulars are crying out for, the channel itself will prosper.

Tottenham scored the most goals last season. They conceded the least goals too. They had 86 points which would have won the league in most seasons (compare this to when we were runners-up the previous season to Leicester with 71 points which wouldn't even have earned you 4th place in many seasons). They went into May with a realistic chance of winning, but Chelsea ground out the results while they lost a crucial match to West Ham on the May 5th. Chelsea's super-consistency with a record points total only bettered by Maureen's '04/05 team in PL era history was what ultimately denied Spurs.

Make no mistake, they were a fantastic side last season.
