Good OP, RV, although you must see something in Wes that I don't. He's decent but, when we are playing you, he doesn't worry me the way that Klos and Goram did. I think that, at their best, Lewis and Gordon are better keepers - just my opinion
Esc, surely Dorrans for Jack in that system?
Clarke does seem to be the most obvious solution, I can only hope whomever is in charge of that decision knows more than I do about potential managerial options.
The main problem rangers have is how are you going to compete with Celtic once Bitton is fit again ?
Clarke hasn't done anything Tommy Wright doesn't do with a smaller club (except win a cup) but would do a decent job......who would want a job with all the totally unrealistic expectations as well as other issues (board, investment, etc.).....Alex Neil maybe a shout...not brilliant but again decent

He's certainly not in that bracket, not close to it.
Gordon has been a better keeper than what Wes is but i think he makes more mistakes now than Wes, both capable of superb stops still.
Lewis is actually surprisingly good, not much between the 3 really. Probably bias that gives it to Wes or that he's still improving and the baby of the 3.
I have a question, when did RV turn into a human?
What's with all this sensible football chat ?
RV - fair comment - some Bhoys on here would agree with you

Clarke's Killie were in a worse state than St Johnstone before Wright.
He's also managed bigger players and in the Premier League, doing well for 1 season before getting the sack.
Plus used his contacts well to get a player like Mulumbu to Scotland.
Wright i wouldn't consider at all, Alex Neil where does he fall on the Timbear spectrum?

Shut it stinky
Alex Neil where does he fall on the Timbear spectrum?
Ask Mags - he is the man in the know. Steven Thompson is a Tim, which shocked me, but I believe Mags 100%
"Morelos will stay and continue to develop but if anyone is mad enough to offer 7m+ again we need to see sense and take it."
Do some of you STILL believe ANY bid was made?
Alex Neil is a bear I always presumed....btw wasn't touting Wright, only putting word of caution on Clarke with the comparison
Alex Neil where does he fall on the Timbear spectrum?
He falls just in (the) Timbear lake
Neil is a gers man, my mates played with him at Accies.
He'd be a decent appointment.
Alex Neil if he does fall on the good side could be a decent shout, done well at Norwich and knows our game.
That guy at Hibs has done a decent job what about him?

ADMINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
I'd say we can improve every position.
However important that we improve on the spine of the team. Outwith McCrorie no-one in the central of defence, midfield or upfront are of the required quality. Decent squad players aye, but not what we should be looking for in a starting 11.
We just can't afford to be rebuilding each summer.
Is it a rebuild though? we are adding to our squad year on year keeping the better players, moving on the poorer ones.
It's the only feasible way for us to keep improving without a large spend because we sure as anything can't afford to do it in one big budget summer.
Hopefully get rid of some of the dross off the wagebill as well.
Likes of Dodoo, Rossiter, O'Halloran, Hodson and the like that are claiming a wage without contributing.
Read somewhere we have 100k per week spent on wages on players that don't contribute.

I believe that. Probably more if you look at the sheer number of them that are just waiting to be moved on.
Hopefully a few take a leaf out of Kranjcar's book and leave before they are pushed.
Dodoo, I think is decent his record for goals per min is good. He deserves more of a chance but it won't surprise me if he's not given one.
Good post agree with most.
I would add to those leaving
Cummings just not suited to one up option
Hardie has scored goals at every level except where it counts.
Glenn Middleton is our new hope and will be promoted to the first team squad.
I'd say we're still rebuilding as we're coming to the 5th transfer window being back in the top flight and for the 5th time we're requiring players in those positions.
I wouldn't say we're replacing with better quality either. Holt for example, offers everything Docherty does imo.
