I get the ‘accidental’ experiment for origin stories. That’s fine. But surely they gotta be a bit more original.
So when is Loki set, I thought the Multiverse opened up then.
But Spider-Man opened a new multiverse .
Now Ant-Man’s kid.

That Ant-Man trailer did nothing for me and it's certainly not a story or character I want to invest time in. Kangs live action journey will be interesting but I am content to catch a youtube video about all the important bits of the movie, in relation to the overall MCU.

That's Kang for ya

The version we get here should be closer to (or the same as) what we see in Avengers, and less goofy than the one we saw in Loki.

There's a line from the comic-con trailer where Scott tells him he's an avenger and Kang asks if he's killed him before. Love it.

It's 140m worldwide, and typically people compare US opening weekends as that's a constant metric while global openings can be scattered over a whole month and include less or more markets.

I think $100m US should have been the target and $250 worldwide.

Considering Joe Public doesn't know who Black Adam is yet as well as the fact that many people are very disillusioned with DC given the confusing mess it became under Hamada, I wouldn't expect this movie to be doing much better than it is.
