Yup Hamada and all those that worked under him on these DC movies are all gone now.

I have a feeling The Flash might be epic. Thankfully it's now a completely different movie to the one that would have been released under Walter Hamada's DC after massive and lengthy reshoots.

Apparently the original plan under Hamada was to reset everything in a way that would allow them to move on from Affleck's Batman and Cavill's Superman. And bring in Batgirl and Supergirl to replace them lol.

Fortunately sense has prevailed under the new DC ownership and not only will Affleck and Cavill not be erased but they both feature in the Flash as well as future movies starting with a new Superman movie finally

From everything I can gather it's quite straightforward mate. WBD are simply going to carry on with all the existing characters and storylines. Presumably with all the same actors as well now that it's clear that Cavill and Affleck are back for the long haul and Gadot and Momoa are staying put too.

There's no confirmation yet on whether the likes of Ray Fisher or Jesse Eisenberg will return to reprise their roles but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little bit of recasting of one or two of these characters. Eisenberg wasn't too popular and Fisher fell out with the previous regime as we know.

After Flash and Aquaman 2 we'll be getting a new Superman movie with Henry Cavill, rumoured to be directed by Christopher McQuarrie who directed Cavill in the latest Mission Impossible.

Black Adam has obviously just joined the universe but other additions will be Keanu Reeves's Constantine. That could also set up a load of connected Justice League Dark movies.

Also rumoured to be getting a "trinity" movie starring the big three Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman together although there's speculation that it could be the story for Wonder Woman 3.

Most didn't - unlike the first movie, it did not have Will Smith, Batman, a new Joker, and good will from audiences not burned by bad DC movies.

Nope I never said that at all. The original vision and storyboards for those movies were made public already and won't be happening as far as I know, especially as Snyder no longer works for WB or WBD as it is now. This was already discussed at length on here lately.

What happens in any future Justice League sequels is anyone's guess at this point.

My point is simply that there's absolutely nothing to indicate that any of Snyder's DC movies have been "erased" by WBD. Certainly not yet anyway.

Flashpoint will look to change the events that occured in the Snyderverse. I suspect the movie will also end up recasting Miller as Flash.

Cyborg is done in the DCEU. His character was poorly done and he's not big or important enough to have a standalone movie, like Aquaman.

Let's be honest here, what ever happens at DC, they will clearly still use characters like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. However, the key point to note here is that their storylines will now change.
