tbf I gave up. I couldnt be ar$ed constantly trying to find out what episode should follow which episode i did like 4/5 episodes then gave in. fwiw what I watched was very good. but trying to watch it properly is a right pain in the ar$e

I used a site too... still a pain in the ar$e ... especially if you are about 20/30+ episodes in ... and you leave it for a week... trying to figure out where you left off would be a pain I assume.

Does anyone know why its Lucas didnt put in order?

I loved it, the amount of work that went into making it was clear to see.

It was visually the greatest thing I have ever seen on screen. In 3d it was on anohter level from any other 3d film I had seen.

yes the story is generic but there are hundreds of generic story lines that are great films.

I think Avatar was a work of art and so did many many others.

They decided to go back later and add sequels or prequels to previous episodes to show how we got there

George picked a few episodes he thought was most indicative of the show and stitched them into a movie, but these episodes weren't the first chronological episodes.

it felt nothng like that to me.

I watched in aww and amazement and we saw one of the most amazing worlds ever created shown to us.

the film was also incredible on blu ray with surround sound in my house.

Its cinem and thats one of the most cinematic films ever made.

Like I said many many amazing films are generic story lines and plots that have been done before.

the franchise is broken up into chunks of chronology.

it doesnt go episode 4 , episode 1, episode 8, episode 2, episode 5, episode 3 etc....

it goes episode 4,5,6

episode 1,2.3

episode 7,8,9.
