Anyway, I think I'm gonna give Clone Wars a shot, maybe starting next week.

the episodes I watched I enjoyed.

Clone Wars was on back when my nephew was young enough to need babysitting... It was alright but Adventure Time was the real GOAT

This is the way.

It will change your perception of SW and the events that unfold later in the skywalker saga.

Just checking the dailies of Black Adam.
It’s looking like it’s struggling to hit $300 Million Total next weekend
Barely pass the 400 mark, when it’s run is done at this rate..
That’s including China.

Will it break even?

$200 production budget
$100 advertising budget (at least)

At this point, I’d say barely.

It's running out of time because BP2 is coming next week.

posted on 3/11/22

A shame, if it doesn't break even what are the chances of continuing the story?

Black panther was average so I don't hold out too much hope for it's sequel.
It smashed records and won awards because of the time we live in, not because it was actually a good movie.

Yeah the movie itself was nothing special but it just shows the power of social media.

It was a solid movie though.

Not oscar-nomination worthy but we all know why it was nominated. Doesn't mean it wasn't a good movie in the first place though.

I quite liked Black Panther tbf.

The hype was mental around it (we all know why but none of us can really come out and say it lol)

It was nowhere near as good as it was hyped up to be, but it was defo a good super hero film defo better than average

What can’t you say?
It was a mega budget ($200 Million), tent pole movie with 99% of the cast that was Black. Never been done before.
It was a good solid film, that was a massive hit.
I don’t see no harm in separating critiquing the film and what it meant as a defining moment in ‘BlockBuster’ cinema.

Blackbusting blockbuster

I enjoyed it, for the noise around it Marvel did need to include that demographic and it was a refreshing change to the usual formula.

the black community went all out when it was announced. they really pushed the sales of that film. That film would have been a major success regardless how rotten or good it was gonna be.

I liked Chad Bosewick as BP, I really liked Jordan as Killmonger. I did like the change in scenery also.
I liked how they portrayed Wakanda also.

I am not overly enthused for the new one however

I'm looking forward to Namor and seeing them deal with their grief over BP / Boseman. Expect it to be a return to form after Thor 4.

Not as fussed with seeing Shuri (presumably) take the mantle though.

Agreed.

It's a solid movie but people tend to underrate it because it done so well at the box office and the quality of the movie didn't match the box office numbers and awards.

Whilst films do get overrated, it's important not to forget that those same films can still be decent movies.

I wouldnt say there was problem amongst normal people in the public saying it ... anyone in the public eye or fanbase of any sort was terrified of being critical of BP for the most part
