Ah.. typo, I know that feeling.. ok, look, I ain’t saying it’s rubbish. But there’s something about Roman Empire films that doesn’t do anything for me.
Maybe it’s going back to Ben Hur… it somehow doesn’t have me saying I need to rewatch it.
Same with 300 and the like.
I’ve never put my finger on why that it is… but I’ll watch it at least one time, to say I have.

Conan just didn’t get me going, I see the poster, the video, I’m like ‘nah’…

I thought Troy was a bit meh. 300 was amazing on initial viewing , doesnt hold up well to rewatches IMO.

in fact Id say for such a prominent and influencial time period there is a distinct lack of quality roman time line films

kingdom of heaven !!!!!!EXTENDED CUT!!!!!

Also The King has the best armour combat of any film, the plate armour actually works and they have to aim for the gaps.
Shame they didnt bother to actually show how the Agincourt battle actually went

Gladiator? Good movie but people acted and still act like it's an all time great. A bit overrated IMO but that's not to say it's a bad one.
