Didn't Disney release financials not too long ago...I'll be surprised if they are sold to Apple, who are trying to break into the tv market themselves.
Stranger things have happened though and mergers & acquisitions always rise in times of financial uncertainty because CEOs are appraised on share price and the quickest way to increase share prices are through extensive share buy backs or M&A

Anything to the rumour doing the rounds that Disney are contemplating selling to Apple?!
How much is Disney worth?
Over 100 Billion at least...

Hope so, the woke direction that Disney are going and the significant drop in quality of phase 4 is a clear sign that big change is needed in that company.

Hmm, I think Apple have a similar mindset to Disney.
Don’t think we’d see much change on the TV/Movie front.

Based on what I have read, seen and heard, BA's box office failings are mainly due to the quality of the movie and DC's reputation. Possibly in the following proportions:
DC's current rep:30%
Quality of the movie: 50%
Other factors: 20%
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even though the general audience rating on all mainstream review sites to this point are at very worst respectable and at best highly positive for this movie.
It's worst rating is a 6.8/10 on IMDb. Metacritic general audience review gives it 7.3/10 and Google reviews give it an average 8.8/10 general audience score.
So you'll have to show me where you're seeing all these poor general audience reviews you keep alluding to for this movie because I've yet to see them anywhere.

I don't trust general audience reviews - too easily manipulated.
The poor general audience score that's actually credible is called the box office - especially when its second weekend falls off a cliff, that's word of mouth in action.

Agreed.
That's why I prefer actual opinions from people that have a reliable track record of reviewing movies.
I've never argued or stated that Black Adam's a bad movie, my only point is that the poor box office performance is most likely down to DC's bad reputation and the movie quality, in my opinion.
Also, I may not have see the entire movie but I've now caught up with all the action scenes on youtube.
Man of steel done it better.
I have little to no interest in seeing it and find the sort of partisan attitude over movie studios kinda boring. I am not going to defend a movie just because it's DC and I like DC more than marvel.
It looked naff and its box office and critic scores vindicate my scepticism.

Ok thanks for letting me know what three people thought of the movie.
The rumours about Indy 5 being an absolute disaster zone continue sadly:
https://youtu.be/am2UYowqhu8
Google reviews and IMDB are not a reliable source for general audience reaction.
Let me present some simple facts and I will let the people decide what they think.
IMDB reviews:
Black Widow: 6.7/10
Falcon & WS: 7.2/10
Wandavision: 7.9/10
Hawkeye: 7.5/10
Loki: 8.2/10
Moon Knight: 7.3/10

I never said they were negative.
But they certainly aren't largely positive, which is what you claimed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've just showed you that they are largely positive on the biggest review sites on the internet. If you have something that counters that then by all means let's see it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What proof?
7/10 on Imdb does not equate to largely positive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes it does, anything that's a 7/10 or higher is surely a positive score. And the 7/10 on IMDb was actually the lowest general audience score I could find for it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I just have one question and I will move on.
Is the quality of Black Adam one of the main factors that the movie has not performed well at the box office?
A simple yes or no will suffice.

All you've done is produce some links to a few critics reviews. We already know it wasn't reviewed well by critics but that isn't what we've been talking about. We're talking about general audience reaction and reviews.
You can't gauge general audience reaction to a movie by critic reviews, they're often world's apart. None of your links work btw.

I've given you a mix of critic and general reviews.
IGN review was done by the senior editor of the site. He's not a movie critic.
Cinemablend review was done by the assistant managing editor of the site. He's not a movie critic.
Den of Geek review was done by an entertainment journalist. He's not a movie critic.

And it was Steve Jobs that told Iger to make an offer to Lucas, as he had a hunch he’d be willing to sell.
That was 10 years ago... I wonder if at that dinner between the two men, there was another handshake under the table, so to speak.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So we have Steve Jobs to thank for the Disney Star Wars trilogy then. Well errrr thanks Stevie boy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well.. they are all intricately linked.
Way Back in the day, Lucas sold his animation department to Apple, who I think then named it Pixar, then in turn sold it to Disney.
I think Jobs was considering offering to buy Lucasfilm.
But then having lunch with Iger, Bob said he wanted to make another major purchase after Marvel, and Steve suggested give George a call, and his eyes lit up.
But George always believed, especially with Star Wars, that Disney was a perfect fit. And I believe that too.
The talent is there. The vision, not so much, and we all know who to blame.
But that was George’s doing, not Disney.
It’s like Sir Alex picking Moyes. As if you ain’t gonna listen to the great man. Unlike Utd who could’ve said no thanks Alex, Disney we’re blind sided, as Kennedy came part of the deal.
And here we are.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Problem is Lucas knew full well that Kennedy would be taking over Lucasfilm and would be in full control of his creation so I'm not convinced we can say that Disney was the perfect fit.

Google reviews and IMDB are not a reliable source for general audience reaction.
Let me present some simple facts and I will let the people decide what they think.
IMDB reviews:
Black Widow: 6.7/10
Falcon & WS: 7.2/10
Wandavision: 7.9/10
Hawkeye: 7.5/10
Loki: 8.2/10
Moon Knight: 7.3/10

I never said they were negative.
But they certainly aren't largely positive, which is what you claimed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I've just showed you that they are largely positive on the biggest review sites on the internet. If you have something that counters that then by all means let's see it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What proof?
7/10 on Imdb does not equate to largely positive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes it does, anything that's a 7/10 or higher is surely a positive score. And the 7/10 on IMDb was actually the lowest general audience score I could find for it.

I just have one question and I will move on.
Is the quality of Black Adam one of the main factors that the movie has not performed well at the box office?
A simple yes or no will suffice.
