I was making that pun before I saw your comment, but kind of semi serious.
That said, I’m not sure how into the MCU Pratt is so could be wrong on whether he plans to stick around.
The likes of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper wouldn’t surprise me if they fack it off, so maybe they go, or it’s just the whole shebang and they part ways with the characters - they don’t all need to be killed off for this, but Starlord getting Quilled is as good a reason as any given his significance to the group.

That's risky IMO. And what about Gamorra finally letting Quill into her pants? Would be pretty cruel if Quill dies with his deek still in his hand. He's been chasing that pu55y for a decade now. And how cruel can Gamorra be? Girls like being chased, and this guy chased that for a decade and never told her to fack off? Time to return the favour. When is she just gonna let him hit it out of pity? Eh?
Maybe they get married and settle on some Tatooine like planet to raise a family. They can just make less GotG movies. Have them in the background somewhere, or individually popping up in other people's movies.
