Fair play. I think it’s excellent, even if Batman isn’t in it. You should have given it longer for the Joker origin story, bloke that plays him is brilliant.

Seems mad they haven't really done more with Shang-Chi, one of the rare bright spots for this phase and he hasn't been used.

It's a shame they haven't. There was speculation a while ago about the Ten Rings being related to Kang, I wonder if they had a vague idea for the sequel that had to be changed after Majors got fired.

I wish they release the Kang storyboards one day

Or maybe recast & return to him when the internet forgets about Majors…which in internet time should be about a month really

I’m just waiting for the Snyder Cut of Avengers The Kang Dynasty.

Yeah would be interesting to see what the plan was.

Doubt they'll bother recasting Kang unless Bloke Lovely wants to play him.

Obviously Majors deciding to train for Creed 3 by using his girl as a punching bag threw a spanner in their plans. They also fumbled when Ant Man beat him imo…even though there’s the hint at the end of the movie that Ant Man actually in a different universe…so did he really win??

But the same people who were complaining about two different actors playing the same character are praising RDJ playing both Doom and Tony Stark…I’ve seen nothing about Reed Richards being recast

I know there’s still the possibility that Doom could be a variant of Tony

I also feel like Doom was always going to make an appearance with Secret Wars and then maybe him being the big bad after Kang

They had so many options to continue the Kang storyline imo

And actors have played multiple roles in the MCU so its not like this is a first. Gemma Chan did, one of the Luke Cage actresses was in Civil War, and Mahershala Ali was in LC and is (presumably still) playing Blade.

Yeah...so I still can't understand why recasting him was such a no-no

Yeah this is a shame as it was possibly the most enjoyable movie in stage four but sadly it all feels a bit inconsequential at the point.

This makes no sense to me. A gritty True Detective vibe for a Green Lanterns series, wtf ? This is a guy flying round with a ring that can make him materialize anything he wants. There's no grit in that whatsoever lol.

This is one of the DC characters that should be getting the full Gunn goofy treatment but somehow isn't

I'd be surprised if Fillion's Lantern doesn't get the goofy treatment in SUPERMAN to be fair.

Hal is not so much the goofy type. He's pretty serious...Stewart is definitely the comedic relief in that one.

You can the buddy cop vibes coming from that one

Dunno I don't see it at all. They're wearing spandex and can fly with rings that allow them to materialise anything they want. I don't think of cops when I think of Green Lantern.

Genuine questions...are you capable of judging something deeper than face value?

I'm more than happy to suspend my disbelief but I just don't think of gritty buddy cops investigating a murder when I think of Green Lantern lol.
