never happens.... for the furst half of the PS5 lifespan they need to make games that can run on the PS4 still, then they stop that and within the year they bring out the PS5 pro, and likewise they still need to make games that can run on the vanilla PS5

I'm talking about something like The Last of Us on PS3

yeah and exactly covers what I mean... Last of us was released about 6 months before the PS4 so right at the tail end of the PS3 and by that point they games were being made soley for the PS3 and not for anything else so they were able to properly optimist the game for the hardware available meaning that you could really get the best out the console.

Stand alone PS games that are only released on 1 version of console are normally always considerably better than the others
