Both Punn and I tried to get chat started aboot it but nobody was interested.

I'm intrigued by the actors all coming over to live action at some point. Interested to see how they promote to general audiences who may confuse it with SS.

Very intriguing isn't it. We've never seen anything like that before where something starts as animated and turns into live action (that I can recall anyway) so will be fascinating to see how it pans out. If they're still doing it of course.

Yeah it is a bit similar to SS but presumably they'll make it different enough to distinguish it.

Where did you hear that fam ? Technically SUPERMAN is going to be the "true start" to the DCU according to very recent comments by GUNN.

But in reality it is goung to be Creature Commandos simply because that gets released first and is the first thing we see of this new universe.

If you don't include Peacemaker I guess 🤔. Of which season 2 is going to be in the DCU even though DCEU's Aquaman and Flash were in it in season 1

Still haven't seen Blue Beetle

Snyder was a seminal part of the DCEU and your wannk library.

He's very relevant.

Presumably The Suicide Squad movie is also set in the DCU and not the DCEU although at this stage who da fook knows fams.

Which would actually make it the true start of the DCU as it's set before Peacemaker

I thought that scene with the music was brilliant… but the overall tonal shift was perfect.
Characters had time to be fleshed out. Cyborg was great too.
Don’t know what’s happened to Snyder since then… but you know, I’d give him a crack at Star Wars.

Maybe a TV show… see how he gets on..
