Could easily say the same for the last five years of Marvel. We've had a huge amount of crap in that time and very few really good movies.

Outside of Shang Chi and Guardians 3 there's been very little to shout about in the last half decade. Spider-Man No Way Home is very overrated. The cameos were very cool but the movie itself is actually quite average fare when you rewatch it and you're not overwhelmed by the cameos as you would be on first watch.

Just seen Venom Last Dance, decent movie, enjoyed it more than expected. Definitely worth a watch on the big screen.

The Vex incoming in 3...2...

In that same time DC have brought out Joker 1, The Batman, ZSJL and The Suicide Squad which is at least on par with the best movies that Marvel has brought out in the last five years. Even Black Adam is on par with the best of the rest movies Marvel has released in that time like Wakanda Forever.

There isn't much of a disparity at all between DC and Marvel movies over the last five years. Both of them have also released some serious crap as well, no doubt. In fact it could easily be argued that Marvel are even more guilty of that given the Sonyverse and phase 4 lol.
