They ain't gonna make hulk beat Thor in his own movie.
Still, Thor and hulk are now comedy, to draw in the kids. Shame really.

There should be a hulk movie/show that is absolutely terrifying and makes hulk something to be feared, not something to be laughed at which is what he currently is.

I suspect She-Hulk will outshine Hulk, in the tv show.

That's why I hope they introduce Skaar, although I suspect we will get red Hulk in the thunderbolts instead..

Certainly looks that way from the trailers.

Doesn't everyone outshine Hulk in everything now? He pretty much exists to put over across new characters. I'm sure there's a wrestling term for it but I can't remember it...

I think that will change when marvel get all the rights back tbh. Although as I said, I expect it to be one of his other incarnations

The other alternative is bringing in a Hulk from a different universe and recasting altogether?

Red Hulk makes the most sense. I don't think the Skaar storyline works at this point, outside of completely makong up their own version of it.

Funnily enough I was thinking along these lines, possibly even when Secret Wars comes around.

Disagree, Skaar is from sakaar and the planet hulk storyline partially shown in Ragnarok.. Ragnarok was released 5 years ago + a 5 year "blip" + we won't see a hulk film for at least two years yet, 1 year till the rights shift back, then script + filming.

12 year old son of hulk would probably shift some merch

Although you are correct they can't follow the proper storyline now, they have the bones of it, you don't know what hulk was up to until Thor found him and bought him back.

Did we all miss the bit about "convergences" in MoM?

She-Hulk is kinda like Deadpool with her humour and 4th wall breaks in the comics although not as extreme...so if they want a Hulk with humour elements, she's perfect.

Professor Hulk is not thaaaaat bad if you think about it tbh. In the comics Professor Hulk comes about due to the past trauma of Banner. It was right to introduce it in Endgame because they wanted to show just how bad the defeat to Thanos affected the Avengers...the problem was though was the execution of it all.

In IW he gets schooled by Thanos on the ship and we never see him again. Banner isn't really affected by this but Hulk's ego takes a hit. Then in Endgame he's Professor Hulk, that's it. So you don't feel anything for Banner because that whole trauma experience was done off screen and explains it jokingly with some selfies with kids.

At least with fat Thor you could see he was trying to hide his pain or whatever with his humour and accepting his situation on New Asgaard and whatnot.

Grey Hulk will be the best option to reset Hulk's storyline because in the comics all of these different Hulks exist in Banner's psyche. So Grey Hulk doesn't have to be a permanent form but a way of Banner dealing with another traumatic event and then he returns to the Hulk we all know

Also that Sakaar storyline in Ragnarok is definitely the storyline that will be the introduction of Skaar.

I mean, two universes colliding is more of a convergence, but whatever pun

Depends how long ruffalo wants to keep going, isn't he getting fed up with the greenscreen?

If he's sticking around you could use the storyline where nightmare destroys Bruce banners mind creating savage hulk.

Or go for Devil hulk. I just don't see the MCU giving up its current iteration of him.

"Depends how long ruffalo wants to keep going, isn't he getting fed up with the greenscreen?"

This probably the biggest factor tbh. These guys have been doing this for almost 15 years now. Maybe he hands over the torch to She-Hulk who knows

Hemsworth also said Love & Thunder would be his last Thor appearance.

Could be negotiation tactics for bigger pays too

posted on 15/8/22

Thought Hemsworth had another two movies in his contract?

posted on 15/8/22

I think that's the 2 Avenger movies huh.

I should've said last Thor movie

posted on 15/8/22

Hemsworth has recently (last month) said that he'll keep playing Thor until the studio and fans tell him they don't want him to.
