I waiting for Superb to clarify his "bums on seats" with actors from two of the least popular superhero movies

Full reset is highly unlikely at this point in my opinion. Doing that would be a huge risk as audiences might turn away from DC altogether after all the messing around and constant course corrections we've had over the last decade.

We already have three Batmans currently if you include Keaton and we also have three Jokers as things stand. Scrapping everything and starting yet again introducing a fourth different Batman and a fourth different Joker in such a short space of time could become incredibly tedious for audiences.

From what Zaslav has said publicly there's no major hint at all that he's thinking about doing this either. Certainly not at this stage.

And there's too much invested in the current slate of Aquaman 2, Black Adam, Shazam 2 and The Flash movie (Flash alone costing $200 million to make) to scrap it all and reset everything right now.

If all those movies fail then maybe a full reset could happen but certainly not before they've all been released.

It's a risky thing for WB, on the one hand this story hasn't blown up in the general media as much as it should have done so there's a chance it might not get hit too badly by press damage, but if the mob does get wind of the summer reshoots and everything else and decides to hone in on the film then it can go south real quickly.

People are weird, very short memories with some things but really aggressively petty about others

I think it will be a combination of option 1 and 2. They will get Ezra to do some PR stuff, explaining his situation and struggles but they will limit the amount of promotion he does for the movie.
