Personally I hope he's right. I think Cavill and Affleck returning in various future movies beyond The Flash would be fantastic and would definitely get bums on seats. Especially if those movies happen to be Man of Steel 2 and a solo Batfleck movie.

Also the the continuation of the Darkseid story as well as Lex Luther and his new team including Deathstoke causing havoc across various movies. All the ingredients are there.

I'm not throwing out fan theories. I'm simply saying what a source who claims to have inside information at Warner has said will happen. Take it or leave it.

I've produced the bullet points of what he said and I'm happy to produce it again word for word anytime it's needed.

ZSJL barely gained traction in the mainstream and was bottom half on HBO Max's movie viewership lists last year.

A movie that makes $100m opening weekend that finishes on $350m say - has a 3.5x multiplier which is a very healthy multiplier.

BvS has a 1.98 multiplier - it made over half its money in two days - interest utterly collapsed after opening weekend.

What I want is a continuation of the story we've seen so far in all the DCEU movies (omitting the trashy Whedon JL cut) and with the same actors barring nutjob Ezra Miller who needs replacing at the end of The Flash movie.

I'd love to see Ray Fisher brought back as well so that we can continue his integral story arc from ZSJL. And there's a wealth of good directors at DC including James Wan and Affleck himself to continue these movies.
