Agree. Wolves were awful today. We played this badly quite a few times last season but were up against rubbish like Bolton, Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday.

I was persistent at least

It was expert wumming

The real Wolves were sleeping. I think they were too wary about playing in the Prem, Our passing was off, Jota and Costa were pretty much anonymous, and our interplay was too slow.

Shoudn't read too much into it, first game first point and we all know we can play a lot better.

I hope Coady doesn't get the Dave Edwards and Karl Henry treatment. No room for sentimentality - Nuno needs to get his spiked club out and do him in the carpark before officially announcing a long term groin strain.

More quality to a better squad? You may rate their signings more, but Everton finished 7 points above West Ham so how exactly have they got a better squad?

Are you also forgetting we have a new manager trying to implement his way of playing, we must have around £80m worth of signings to come in, oh yes, we were down to 10 men for 50 min.

To be honest I still see similar problems with Everton to last season. You have no replacement for Lukaku. Attacking wise you just don’t inspire and I’m not sure Silva is the right man for that

If Richarlison goals dry up (and he scored nothing after November last year), then who have you got for real quality going forward? André Gomes won’t be scoring much. Walcott is bang average. Sigurddson looked as average today as last season.....

Not the best performance today but certainly not as dire as some 'fans' are making out. Pace was a bit pedestrian, too many misplaced passes and too many long balls. Jota and Costa didn't support Jimenez enough and we generally afforded a very average Everton side too much respect. Having said all that, we are the only promoted club to gain a point today. So now we move on and start the program of slow, week by week improvement that we employed last season.
