No I wouldn't say. I went to university in Southampton- I was the only black student in my class of 220. I hardly saw a lot of black people around town as well.
On the 2011 census, there were only 3% black people in the UK. This 10-15 years you mentioned is absolute rubbish

I believe they also are in American football. Some scientist will tell you it is because genetically they are superior athletes.
100% of ex professionals who have gone on to presenting home renovations programmes are black so it all evens out in the end really.

Well I don't think it's wrong as such but that they are spending time money that could be better spent in getting more British players into the league.
It causes no harm so I do agree that creating pathways can be beneficial if not getting more jobs for BAME people, at least for showing them that they aren't being discriminated against but quite the opposite. Which can only be a good thing.

Not really. Intelligence and Education aren't synonymous. There have been some very intelligent illiterates throughout history.
I completely agree that being academic is not the same as being intelligent. Muhammed Ali i my opinion was a prime example of this.
In the realms of what we are talking about, some of the best coaches today have/had access to world class education in coaching.

I told you i personally hate the Rooney rule, I also see its merits. Maybe you should read up on how many Black coaches/ managers have been involved in Super bowl championships since its inception. Showing clearly that they are capable- maybe, just maybe they never had the chance prior.
