salah should have been in the team of the year over hazard.
But there are not several players better than hazard.
He has won more than anyone the last 5 years and thats including having a year of injuries.

He has carried chelsea for years and starts all our attacks, aswell as having to finish them from time to time too.

His talent and all around game cannot be underappreciated, it's way he tears teams apart without necessarily getting the goal.

Motm this year in an FA cup semi, Fa cup final, world cup quarter final and just nobody can get the ball off him.

he's like a smaller zidane for me.

He wasn't man of the match in the World Cup quarter final.

Hazard is a better player than Salah overall, but not last season.

As I said ages ago, what separates Hazard from the top bracket (Messi, Ronaldo level) is that he’s not consistent enough and doesn’t get the goals/assists that they do.

Yeah pride about right.

I doubt even if he played upfront he would. too Unselfish.

But you wouldn't use that measure for players like zidane, figo, david silva, mata, pires, nedved who all played similarly to hazard.

I know he's a good player, he's just not as good as you say he is. He's a level below Neymar, Salah, Mbappe and Bale and he's two levels below Messi and Ronaldo.

Hazard was outstanding against Brazil in the World Cup, and is World Class, no denying that. But I still think there are four, maybe five players in the PL that are better than him.

He plays up front. He plays as a left forward in a front three or as a second striker in a front two.

Hazard was good in that game, as was Lukaku and a couple of others from Belgium.

He didn't turn up in the semi final with France though.
