It definitely was. Kante and Fabregas vs Hendo and Wijnaldum lol.
Fabregas is finished as a top level footballer and Bakayoko was also there.
And even if our midfield was better, Klopp played attacking tactics which supplemented service to the forward line, Conte didn't.
Needs the people behind him to succeed whether as hazard can do it on his own.

I’m judging it on the fact that since the start of the World Cup arguably no one in the world has been better than Hazard and the fact that Hazard isn’t shlt for 5 months nearly every season before turning up from February onwards, as he isn’t on a sharp decline like Ronaldo is. Anyone who says hazard (up till this season) plays in the same position as salah etc, I can only wager they have not seen chelsea play, and groaned as I did when hazard has to come to the edge of his own box to receive the ball.
Even Ian fecking Wright said it, he was constantly receiving the ball with his back to goal on the half way line. Nothing like where salah or neymar and co play. Just absolute lack of football knowledge.
Hazard has something like a goal and assist for every 1.55 games in the PL since Mourinho left.
De Bruyne is something like 1.4.
Hardly anything in it, yet KDB is the best thing since slice bread, and hazard "doesn't do enough", in a worse, more disfunctional team than city who score for fun.

Hazard is a forward. last season he either played at Left forward in a 3-4-3 or as a second striker in a 3-5-2. He didn't score enough goals and had a poor season. Thing with Erik and some opposition fans you can break down game for game where hazard plays etc would just mean watching the game. He's a forward. plays exactly as far forward as Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Salah do.

Hazard is second only to Messi this year, Ronaldo is not better than him.

Are you talking about this calendar yr where Ronaldo has scored 36 goals for club and country and helped his team win a CL. Where as Hazard scored 11 goals and won sweet FA
Or are you talking about this season judging them on 5 games?

I’m judging it on the fact that since the start of the World Cup arguably no one in the world has been better than Hazard and the fact that Hazard isn’t shlt for 5 months nearly every season before turning up from February onwards, as he isn’t on a sharp decline like Ronaldo is. Took Ronaldo about 30 shots to score a goal this season
But carry on making a massive cnt out of yourself as usual

As a neutral, Hazard and KdB are the best players in the premier league.
All this chat about stats is nonsense. How many assists and goals did Iniesta get? Was Kevin Nolan better than Iniesta then?
No surprise he’s scored more this season in a more attacking side. Last year he was picking up the ball around the half way line having to do everything.

Anyone who says hazard (up till this season) plays in the same position as salah etc, I can only wager they have not seen chelsea play, and groaned as I did when hazard has to come to the edge of his own box to receive the ball.
Even Ian fecking Wright said it, he was constantly receiving the ball with his back to goal on the half way line. Nothing like where salah or neymar and co play. Just absolute lack of football knowledge.
Hazard has something like a goal and assist for every 1.55 games in the PL since Mourinho left.
De Bruyne is something like 1.4.
Hardly anything in it, yet KDB is the best thing since slice bread, and hazard "doesn't do enough", in a worse, more disfunctional team than city who score for fun.
Can only put it down to jealousy in the end.

Hazard is a forward. last season he either played at Left forward in a 3-4-3 or as a second striker in a 3-5-2. He didn't score enough goals and had a poor season. Why can't Chelsea fans just accept that? In the past he's never hit 30+ goals in a season either. In the modern era that is unacceptable for a wide forward who claims to be top class.

Thing with Erik and some opposition fans you can break down game for game where hazard plays etc would just mean watching the game. Yet they come back with the same copy and paste tired response which doesn’t hold up. Erik has been known to call hazard “biiiiitch boy” on several occasions so will never have a good word to say about him. Anyone who has seen us play and been to the bridge will know how important he is. Similar to Belgium v Brazil. May not have got the goals but was motm.
