He’s a very good player. Got a really high ceiling, don’t think he’s been inform so far this season but the Celtic boys could fill you in on that. Probably too good for Everton..

Maybe if he was N'Tierney?

He’ll likely go to an Everton or a Southampton (whoever is a mid table EPL team at the time) and waste a couple of years there before moving onto a top 6 club he was already good enough for (Spurs, Liverpool).

Wenger should have signed Wanyama when he went to Southampton, and Van Dijk was easily better than anything Liverpool had at the back every day he was in the EPL.

Top managers down south have done themselves out of very good players because our league isn’t attractive. More fool them.

KT hasn’t been on top form for us this season ... who has TBH?In his case he’s played a ridiculous amount of first team football for a guy his age, and seems to be suffering a wee dip as a result. Paying the price for being the only LB at the club ... cheers for that, Brendan. Of course we’ve now re-signed Izzaguire as our only LB cover ... except he doesn’t even make the bench. Go figure.

He’ll be back and firing on all cylinders soon enough, of that I’m in no doubt. No offence to Everton, but when he does leave us for the riches of the Prem it will be to a top 4/top 6 club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Has Celtic ever sold a player to a top prem side? We were told Dembélé was going to be the next best thing, he was sold for a measly £20m, I don't remember Lyon having to fight clubs off for his signature. I maybe mistaken but don't ex Celtic players normally move to a top 6 team in the prem via clubs like Southampton?

He won't go to Everton unless we sell Digne, like I posted previously, it was a blessing is disguise that we missed out on Tierney (if we actually made a bid that is).

Made big noises did Celtic about getting top dollar for Tierney and Dembélé. Happy with the two LB’s we have at the moment, if I’m honest Digne wasn’t a player I had seen but he is turning into a bargain.

Like I posted previously, it might not be Everton but it will likely be one of the other irrelevant mid-table clubs who languish somewhere in the middle for the sole purpose of earning the owners EPL Sky money

We will never know at Everton. Sure he will make a move south of the boarder, but to which club as most top 6 seem set at LB.

Saf state of affairs if a middle of the road side can take these players.

What a snarky ass dig, Celtic would love to be an irrelevant mid-table club in the prem, rather than top dog in SPL.

Maybe some Celtic fans, not for me though. I’ve been to a few of the half empty EPL stadiums. You could just feel people knew they were playing for nothing.

I get it back in the day, but now? Those top spots are locked in and no new clubs are going to be getting near them for a while

I’d add that our wee league has the same balance issue, the only difference is in our league we’re the Man City, Liverpool and Man U combined

Tbf he's regaining form slowly but surely after he had a really poor 17/18 season due to injuries, still struggles with his fitness though which means we have to play a lot of Ben Davies who is not good enough, so another LB is definitely needed
