Someone said on the Football live thread that Delia Smith was doing the VAR today. I think they may have a point. Walton backing it up was just laughable also. All three pundits thought VAR got 0 out of 4.

Delighted with the result, really good game to watch. Tammy took his chances really well. Mason Mount is really good.

Still a lot to work on defensively but overall a solid performance.

perfect day so far superb. That norwich team will upset a few this year imo. With kante, rudiger, pedro out was a good result

The lads played well today,we could have had a couple more, but we are playing some nice football, and things are only going to get better .
A special mention to Tammy and Kova ,who seems to be getting better and better.

Very important we win next weekend and then have Rudiger, Kante and CHO back after international break

Yeah good day. Norwich are a very capable side, definitely no pushovers at Carrow Road. And looking forward to seeing the squad at full strength, with the likes of Rudi, Cho and Reece James available for selection. Interesting times ahead.

Lamps supposedly considering playing Loftus-Cheek as a striker when he returns from injury:

Very interesting. He certainly has all the attributes to play there.

I think that is most likely a typical BS tabloid article Superb. There is no substance behind it and Frank's comments about RLC in the past have been comparing RLC to Ballack.

But, admittedly he will have a problem playing RLC and Mount in the same team, so its not impossible

Will be interesting to see if there's any truth to the article. Personally I fully get why Frank might want to try it. And not just to accommodate Mount and Loftus-Cheek in the same lineup. Conte toyed with Loftus-Cheek as a striker as well of course.

Yeah, just sounds like another lazy journo to me as well. Not new either as he references the super cup final as being last week.

I don't see why Frank would come out with that now after Tammy's terrific brace yesterday!

In other news, it was hilarious watching Le Ar$e fans seeing the David Luiz we knew was hidden in there!

When Lluiz is dragged out wide he does every time, he never learns think back to last season agst United and Mata (who is not even the quickest).

Still like Luiz and glad he played for us, he put in some massive performances for us in some big games, and i would have preferred him to still be a values squad member, but certainly not a disaster that he left us................. again.

Glad we got rid of, he had some good games for us ,but he was also a liability at times, plus, if he leaves a club twice, voluntarily, it shows where his values are !

It reminded me of the goal we conceeded at $purs last season when Kane skinned him easily and I don't think Kane is that fast either.

He almost let Firmino in, in the 1st half as well, letting a ball run across his body, luckily for him Firmino couldn't get to it.

The biggest mistake made by a Le Ar$e player yesterday though, I thought was that Ceballos putting a cross into his own box and putting Mane on the end of it. It had me confused coz I thought they were supposed to be attacking that goal for a second!

When he disappeared so easily to PSG I realised what we really meant to him. That's why I was never bothered about him coming back, well that and his well known recklessness.

It amazes me why some people defend him so doggedly!

Doesn't look convincing in a back 4, especially when he gets dragged out wide.

Thought Arsenal would trial a back 3 with Luiz in the centre as that's when he's at his best.

Arsenal's tactics were crazy yesterday, they played a diamond and allowed Liverpool's fullbacks the freedom of the wide areas with no one tracking.

I think that the article is from a few days ago but it's not a slight on Tammy. Frank obviously believes in him a lot and will continue to play him.

But going forward we're going to need two top class strikers and I doubt that either Giroud or Bats are here long term. Probably not beyond this season.

Root's brain is totally scrambled. Why on earth play that shot knowing the new ball is about to be taken
