I thought he was a bit unlucky Biggish. It came off the bat, hit his foot and looped over Paine.
Need Stokes and Bairstow to get their heads down and concentrate now!
A century of both will do nicely!
Risky shot Brummie charging the spinner when the new ball is about to be taken....he needed to protect Bairstow and Buttler from the new ball.
The new ball could be good for us in these conditions Biggish. It might come quick and lively but it will come off the bat even faster!
Who am I kidding - we're going to lose!
You'd like to think that these 2 could properly apply themselves and knuckle down and get these but with England you always feel that the concertina collapse is never far away.
It is not for nothing that a whole generation grew up thinking that "England batting collapse" was just one word.
"England batting collapse", I thought that was who I supported!!
On the subject of Cricket Brum like you I also was down my Cricket Club yesterday watching them smash my former Club (who I played 10 seasons with) by 6 wickets in the Middlesex County League (top league in Middlesex) so a good sporting day all round.
Only 159 to win now - this is do-able!

Biggish I would imagine that Colchester are probably in the top league in Essex?
Lyon looks the biggest danger to us!

They just save all the moaning for when you get home!
Yeah I'd certainly heard of them when I used to play. Played quite a few teams out there back in the day. Played at Ilford St. Valentines Park (which I think was a County ground?) once and we couldnt get out of there by car when we left the bar coz the groundsman had locked up the park.
