On the subject of Cricket Brum like you I also was down my Cricket Club yesterday watching them smash my former Club (who I played 10 seasons with) by 6 wickets in the Middlesex County League (top league in Middlesex) so a good sporting day all round.

Biggish I would imagine that Colchester are probably in the top league in Essex?

no but funny enough they just got promoted to the top league yesterday

they did produce Paul Pritchard and Neil Foster for Essex, and Graeme Napier

I go down there cause the beer is dead cheap, my son plays with the other kids and i get to relax in peace and quiet

They just save all the moaning for when you get home!

Yeah I'd certainly heard of them when I used to play. Played quite a few teams out there back in the day. Played at Ilford St. Valentines Park (which I think was a County ground?) once and we couldnt get out of there by car when we left the bar coz the groundsman had locked up the park.
