Went back to the bait shop and their were no special lures. Just standard lake, river and swamp lures.

Maybe you need to unlock the Jeremy side mission then? That’s weird

Been doing so much free roaming though. Going to trek towards St Denis tonight, only area I haven't really been near. Plus I want to get eaten by a gator.

The "A Fisher of Fish" Stranger mission can be initiated at any point after having completed Chapter 2. The mission begins when Arthur gets acquainted with accomplished fisher Jeremy Gill, who can be found in his cabin by the water to the south of the "R" in The Heartlands on the map.

Get a rifle, use dead eye and shoot the red spot on the animal. Make sure they’ve got three stars though, that’s when you get a perfect pelt

Killing things

With the legendary animals you dont have to worry about the weapons you use as the pelts will be good still even if you blow them up with dynamite

Spent a bit of time doing some hunting last night, trying to get perfect pelts for the satchel crafting. Decided I was going to get a perfect Raccoon pelt, went and got myself some bullets for the Varmint rifle and went myself a hunting. Two days and nights and spent in Radding Pasture until I finally found a 3 star Raccoon. Shot it, skinned it, rode back to camp, went to Parson, realised I dropped the pelt rather than stowing it on the horse, turned the PS4 off, went to bed.

You can sell some of the parts you collect to a fence who can craft you trinkets RAP, that give you a bonus for various things.

I've been picking up so many herbs as well during exploring, I was late in realising L3 and R3 pressed together shows you that there's herbs around you.

A useful tip is if you press that whilst in a house it'll show all the things you can loot. Saves time so you don't have go looking through every drawer
