I've done a few of them, but without really trying. Something to focus on once my Satchel is fully pimped up.

I’m trying to kill and skin skunks but can’t find any and when I do can only get a ‘good’ pelt I want the skunk boots and hat

Choice, you need to use the varmint rifle to get a perfect skunk pelt. Try hunting at night at Ringneck Creek.

I can't seem to get 3 perfect rabbit pelts, even with the varmint rifle.

Must have killed 20+ rabbits and I've only got 1 perfect pelt so far.

Are you checking that they are 3 start rabbits before shooting them? If not, when you aim at the rabbit and its name appears bottom right of the screen, there will be 3 little stars. 1-3 of the stars will be white, dependent on the condition of the rabbit/animal. In order to get a prefect pelt the animal has to 3 stars to start with and then you have to kill it cleanly using the right weapon.

Are you using the autolock system to snap on and off the target/s? Much easier than manually targeting them. Just aim more or less in the right area, then release the aim button, then press it again and you should lock on them. It is a good way to quickly cycle through a few possible targets and speeds the perfecting pelt hunting process up.

I’ve been too scared to rob any shop owners unless I have to, can you do it without getting spotted by witnesses?

When you unlock new animals by studying them it instantly shows you what weapon to use for perfects pelts while hunting them, and you can look again any time in the compendium

Fook me, I was chasing down a Ram when a grizzly bear scared my horse which threw me off, the bear grabbed me and I thought I was dead, I managed to stab the bear a few times and shoot the fooker dead, shame I only get a poor bear pelt for that

Easily the best ps4 game. The story, and the general detail and depth is extraordinary.

Alright lads, in a week from now I will have a PlayStation 4 Pro 1 TB + Red Dead Redemption II !!

By then everyone has finished the game, moved on and this thread is buried

Anyway, hope I will be able to post some updates but I think everyone has come across everything in the game already.

Its a 4K HDR game, and I have a 65 inch 4K HDR TV
