Any tips on what rifle to use for hunting? I've been using the springfield so far

Aye not sure it only advises rifle and doesnae specify which one

I'm trying to acquire the talismans I don't have.

Spent 6 hours robbing two trains and hogtieing any female who had wandered out of town , to get a silver earing to craft with the lendary bison, with no luck. Just a lingering feeling of guilt about becoming a woman killing psychopath

Got distracted is Rhodes obtaining 5 double down wins on blackjack(gambler challenge ) which took far too long, so dead eyed the irritating croupier and blasted him with four shot gun hits to the head. Escaped the law and the locals, but still had no bloody silver earrings, so I sneaked back into the Rhodes saloon through a back door and stumbled into 4 working girls in a bedroom. Whipped out the throwing knives, took them out silently and completed a sharp shooter challenge in the process...but above all... Two silver earrings!

I'm hated in Rhodes.

I was robbing the gun store after getting the riffle from downstairs in Rhodes where the pedo guy had that man dressed up as a baby when some random walked in and made a fuss.

Of course the police were right outside.

It got messy.

No problem mate. You should also take the time to hunt down the Legendary Buck. Once you have done that you will be able to get the fence/a shop keeper to make you a trinket form it. This will give you a better chance of getting higher quality pelts. With the smaller animals that you you can kill with the varmint rifle, it means that you don't have to get the headshot, so you can wild with it. With the larger animals it seems to me that it sometimes upgrades 2 star animals to 3 star pelts. I definitely seemed to get a higher percentage of 3 start pelts after I had got the trinket.

With the larger animals I use the springfield rifle with the high velocity bullets, which gives you almost fill damage, so you are pretty much guaranteed a 1 shot kill if you are hitting the right spots.

Also, if you are riding about and stumble across and animal you want a perfect pelt for, use the tracking mechanism to buy yourself some time whilst you work out in your head what weapon and ammo you want to get set-up. Cuts down on missed opportunities whilst you are panicking.

Guys, bit of advice (probably sounds stupid but could be a time saver);

I've got a regular (release day) PS4 and it's on it's last legs, I have to have the soundbar turned all the way up or use headphones if my Mrs is in as the console sounds like jumbo jet taking off when loading any half decent game like Red Dead.

I've bought a PS4 Pro today from Argos for £329 as I still had a £20 Argos voucher to use, so was happy to upgrade before it completely dies (think I'll trade it in at game as they still fetch £110).

I have the digital download version of Red Dead, but my new console comes with Red Dead, I chose this as I already have Spiderman and Fifa and it's still fetching £40 trade in value (cash at CEX, even more for credit) so it made the console even cheaper.

Question I'm asking is;

Can I download the game from the disc onto my new console before I trade it in? or will it then only let me play it with the disc inserted?

It took fooooooking hours to download the digital version but only a couple for the disc so I'm told.

I want to see it in 4K tonight but by the time it's downloaded after work it'll be tomorrow morning

Dunno it's always been well vented and stood up behind the TV,

Had it since release day of the original PS4 and I thought it has had a good innings tbf.

Yo will need to have the disc inserted once you have installed from the disc mate. You'll have to be patient and re-download.

Hark at you, sat there with your fancy 65" 4k Smart TV and your 56k dial-up internet.

Internet is pretty good but it was still a long wait.

I haven't got a 65" either ffs. Way too big!

It’s not 4K (although I doubt you’ll see the difference)

I tried sitting through it and it was so shiiit, made it through the first act and quit.
