I had an ex girlfriend whose mother used to make an oyster stuffing, it was lovely.

She also had a false set of funbags, they were lovely too

Some daft American festival celebrating the day the Native Americans shared their bountiful harvest before they were all but wiped out by the 'thankful' European pilgrims.

Now most of the world have this day thrust upon us by those pesky yanks. It is now nothing more than the start of the Christmas sale season and a reason for Americans to get even fatter than they already are.

Don’t they celebrate Independence day for massacaring us Brits too?

posted on 20/11/18

I see nothing in my comment that would suggest anger.

A bit tongue in cheek maybe but anger? Nope.

Yes they do indeed celebrate the massacre of us Brits but only because they had the help of the 'Cheese eating surrender monkeys'

posted on 20/11/18

I am also going to celebrate brit massacre day by eating lots of cheese.

But no monkeys

Why would you peel spυds in advance, they'll go grey. Cover them with cold water until you are ready to use them

Why would you want to part bake sausages and reheat again. Increased risk for bacteria and they'll be bone dry. If you want to reheat do it in foil. Always cook meat through if you plan to reheat (bacteria). Best method is to reheat low and slow for moisture retention, but it'd be quicker cooking bangers from scratch to be honest.

Preparing carrot parsnip mash in advance, before serving, reheat and then adding butter at the last minute, makes them taste freshly mashed.
