Thanksgiving isn't celebasting that though is it? Perhaps its origins can be seen as iffy but i can assure you 99% of folk around dinner tables Thursday won't be celebrating genocide ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The killings became more and more frenzied, with days of thanksgiving feasts being held after each successful massacre. George Washington finally suggested that only one day of Thanksgiving per year be set aside instead of celebrating each and every massacre. Later Abraham Lincoln decreed Thanksgiving Day to be a legal national holiday during the Civil War -- on the same day he ordered troops to march against the starving Sioux in Minnesota.

those are it's origins, that IS what the holiday was created as a celebration of.
just because you aren't associating the holiday with that these days doesn't alter that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
To be fair Christmas is the celebration of a magic baby who magically appeared in the womb of a virgin lady who grew up to do magic tricks, spreading the word of a book telling people about a magic man who lives in the sky who tells people they should be committing genocide against those who don't believe in this magic man whilst raping the women and taking the children as slaves.

It's just people aren't really using that anymore, they instead use it to spend time with and share gifts with family.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They weren't magic tricks they were miracles

46 million Turkeys will be slaughtered and munched upon come Thursday.

How many Liverpool fans are included in that number???????

All sounds very foreign.

What's wrong with turkey and stuffing?

Eggplant and cheese won't compliment roast potatoes

This is a British website so we don't use poncey names for vegetables like 'zucchini',we use the good old British word 'courgette'!

I'll have the mushrooms, but only if you stuffed them with some turkey.

Oh and the cookies if they've got chocolate chips on them.

All that other ѕhіte can go straight in the bin.

Really, who the fυсk makes a casserole out of corgettes?

Even worse, aubergine, that's the most tasteless fυсking vegetable on the planet.

You really need to get some meat into you
