Fackin hell that mexican gave wilder the first 4 rounds and round 8 wtf
Gutted for Fury. Had him winning by 2 rounds. Getting up from the knockdown wow.
Just rewatched, absolute joke it's even worse on second viewing.
On reflection, it's not the *worst* decision ever but the 115-111 Wilder card is a joke. Probably good practice to just turn a fight off before the decision now and just make up your own mind who won.
Got to give Wilder credit too, guys got dynamite in his hands. Fury did more than enough to win it in my eyes, though.
Not rewatched it yet but I had 114-112 Fury, but honestly if I was going to change that score it would probably be more likely to go to 115-111 Fury
Even with the knockdowns it'd be very generous to give Wilder anything more than a draw.
I guess two knockdowns on away soil and with the way boxing scoring works (or doesnt) you can really complain. Yep fury won the fight, but the main thing is he didn’t lose. He made Wilder look very ordinary
Hopefully he just uses this as extra motivation for the 2nd fight and takes a lot of heart from it, it wasn’t officially a win but it was a win from every point of view, and him getting back up was the symbol of his whole road to recovery and journey, just hope he doesn’t get down about the result and slip back into old habits.
I don't see the point in a second fight, what we know is Fury is the better boxer and Wilder can knock him or anybody else down.
Time for Joshua to step up and fight one of them imo, then see what happens from there.
Joshua is less likely to fight either now than before

That's because Wilder is a very ordinary boxer, he just hits like a freight train. From a technical point of view he's nothing special.

Fackin hell that mexican gave wilder the first 4 roundsand round 8 wtf
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I had Wilder for first three
Round 7 and 8 were Fury's best rounds in terms of tagging and catching wilder
2 and 3 were good from Fury defo his rounds, 1 was draw nothing happened
Adonis Stevenson is in a critical condition in intensive care after suffering a technical knockout defeat by Oleksandr Gvozdyk on Saturday night.
fingers crossed for a fully and speedy recovery Adonis
Wilder 1, 9, 12 and one of the middle rounds (4 I think, can't remember) but I remember thinking it was debatable.
Even with the knockdowns I had Fury winning with a bit to spare.

It was a pretty brutal knockout, he was gone before the last punch came in.
Still love it when fury in that 12th round when he ran right back to wilder and stuck his tongue out & put his hands behind his back

After second viewing I agree with this.
How can two judges score it so differently? Time for a change in how these fights are scored I reckon. Maybe you need 10 judges, maybe promotions aren't allowed to select them I don't know but it's wrong.

Bring VAR into it
It’s very tricky because people have suggested before you could get ex boxers to be judges but then that couldn’t also be controversial and they’d get accused of potentially favouring someone. You could have tv’s and headphones instead of them watching it and hearing people sometimes celebrate punches that didn’t hit gloves or land, but then that also can be misleading, there’s no real right way unfortunately but like refs you just have to hope for the best.
Boxing is just like the wrestling now. These decision are purely to set up more hyped up tv.

Was just about to say, increasing the number of judges would help and they should be drawn from a ballot, the night of the fight. When you are talking £10m+ fights and titles on the line, it cant carry on the way it has been.
