Imagine a world where no-one said the Y or N word.

The problem would be what exactly?

Why create division? Why seperate ourselves and infer difference? Why not all read off the same sheet?
----------------------
that would be lovely, now actually come into the real world please

I was going to say something similar but I think we're wasting our time with Hoody.

Robbing fundamentally disagrees with anybody using the word. I get that. I actually agree with that. Reason being: I'm a non-Jewish Spurs fan calling myself a yeed. I'm not. I'm a Spurs fan. What's happened here is that the meaning of the word has been lost. The new meaning is one of a Spurs fan to many people.

Chelsea hate Spurs and so sing about the yeeds. I get that too. So what he's saying from that angle is right.

However, it doesn't change the fact that the origination of the yeed adoption was due to the anti-semitic chanting going on which we took a stand against.

A lot of the yeed chanting is basically just saying "we hate Spurs fans" rather than we hate jews. BUT, what still exists, and would do whether we chanted it or not is the actual 'proper' anti-semitic chanting that occurs and will continue to occur / be aimed at us. We're the outlet due to our Jewish heritage. We don't lose that heritage by ignoring it / not chanting about it.

Your first statement is the problem though;

'Imagine a world where no-one said the Y or N word'.

We are not in that world, shame I know but that is the hard truth of it.

I know Sizz. But we once had slavery, apartheid and being gay was illegal.

Happy to admit Im a bit if a SJW but I simply dont agree with it in any context.

When I was younger we (me included) used to call people gay if they felt pain or whatever.

No I dont.

Presumably you disagree with the last paragraph. I won't convince you, you won't convince me. Perhaps you need to witness it. It really is a minority of Chelsea fans, but there is undeniably a strong far-right element there. They're going to sing about yeeds and N****s no matter what. Not saying Spurs are all admirable to chant back against that, but that's what we did. We sing pro Jewish songs to combat their anti. It's really that simple.
