Kante is probably up there too.
For Leicester of course!
Ye I thought about Cantona. He had a harder job as United were already very good so arguably many players could have improved them, even if not as much.
Cantona, Shearer, Bergkamp, Vieira, Kompany, Makelele, Hazard, Kante.
We have to win something big first before such comparisons are fair.
Kane is the one which stands out at this juncture
Cantona this is not even up for debate.
Yaya Toure had a huge impact at City also. He was unstoppable for a while.

Can't disagree more. A players impact doesn't have to mean they win something. Had leicester finished 2nd then Kante would still have constituted a huge impact on a team. Going from newly promoted to 4th in a single season thanks to one player would be a much much bigger deal than us from 4th to 1st.

Ye it really is. Think others are right win Kante actually.
You could argue he is one of the biggest immediate impacts, however he was won nothing yet.
There are the likes alresyd mentioned such as Cantona and Kante, but players who take time to settle in alos have huge impacts on clubs and titles. So until VVD has a legacy to leave, there will be dozens of better examples.
I do believe Liverpool will win the league now, but we will see.
I said the other day that VVD might just be their Cantona signing. Very good player. Just annoyed we didn’t get him.
Ridiculous statement when Liverpool have won nothing
Typical Scouse hyperbole
Cantona is the man who changed the Prem.
Murdoch owes him a few beers

To be fair, I basically said in the OP that he probably isn't. And I actually agree with others that it is Kante.

Cantona for me. He was the final piece in the jigsaw which moulded it all together.
Let win something before we make comparisions.
Some people forget just how important Cantona was
When we signed him we’d come second the season before and were starting to win trophies but looked very flat as 92/93 started and struggled to score goals. Dublin was injured (and also not very good), Hughes wasn’t as prolific as we needed him to be and McClair was good but not a game changer in the way Cantona was to become for us.
We were meandering and in no way would have won the title that season without an injection of magic. As soon as Cantona joined us everything changed and we had a bit of swagger and we just never looked back. Would probably have won 5 titles in a row but for his moment of madness at Palace.
Van dijk is a great signing and fair play, he’ll probably help you win the league. Makes you wonder if city had been successful in signing him. They’d never have looked back either. In some ways the league should be thankful Liverpool signed him instead of City

Don’t like Cantona
But he changed football
Why are Spurs on this list? Have they had any game changing players?
