It’s never boring winning the league πŸ‘

Call sign I kinda get you there but we've also got to give the other teams credit for playing us in a way that makes it tough to show much flair?

That said I prefer when the wingers her by their man and cause problems with crossess or getting into the box, I'd take a sheite performance and 3 points over a fantasticaly entertaining loss though πŸ€”πŸ˜‚

I don’t think there’s a team in the world that plays brilliant football every game. Killie have a style that stifles, and it’s difficult to break down. Fans scream to get the ball forward-but to who, when they’re marked so tightly?! There’s a reason the players we have are playing with us and not at the highest level-they’re limited.

I’m not saying we played well today, and that I wasn’t frustrated a lot, but I think sometimes expectations exceed reality.

We won against a difficult team, on a poor pitch. I’ll take that, and worry about style later.

Kilmarnock are a pretty decent team and I think the pitch has a huge impact on our players, the bounce is just so unnatural and doesn't seem to lend itself to good football.

I think all things considered it's the type of game we should just be glad to have got 3 points and move on, no need for an inquisition, we've been in good form since the turn of the year, and yes we let ourselves down a bit against a better team during the week but all in all i'm pretty happy and looking forward to getting the likes of KT, Benkovic and Rogic back.

If honest there's a wee, small part of me that enjoys winning like that, not played superb but a last min goal for the three points😁

I hear this a lot as if these are the only two options.
Insipid again today. Better in second half.

Just to cheer everyone up remember when rangers won the league on 29 Dec. They’ll be due back for pre-season shortly.

Sorry to say but you are the typical entitled fan that has no idea what a supporter truly means. Brought up on sky sports propaganda and think it's all about money.

That was amazing today and if you didn't enjoy it then go and support rangers with all the other negative Nancy's.

Not long back from deepest darkest Ayrshire. Wish I had refused the ticket now. It was as I expected facking turgid like most of our games on plastic pitches.

In terms of the game you could have removed any of the front 4 they were all rotten today. I see Forrest getting it tight on Twitter and quite right too he was back to being the empty jersey that we know he produces occasionally.

I have seen the interviews with both managers and I have to say a point a piece would have been the fair result though can't see where Clarke gets his "deserved at least a point" from they had one facking shot on target the whole game and always happy to play for a point. See at Todders the other week the had no shots on target and no shots off target. They just play to bore the erse clean aff ye. As the bears will find out when they play the replay after the first cup game which was as rancid as our game today. I don't want him as our manager ever. He sets up to play a class of Mourinho style football (avoid defeat and hope for a goal) and i am not convinced given the resources of our club an the expectations of attacking football from the fans that he would be a good fit for our club. I can't see him playing expansive football so Killie is where he should stay.

In terms of our new RB let me say I thought he looked like a black Michael Lustig today. He received the ball many times half way inside the Killie half and 99% of the time passed it back to the CB's in our half or backwards inside to the two holding midfielders same as Lustig did . Lets hope that is not the norm otherwise we may have a direct replacement for Lustig but certainly not an upgrade. Of course I take o board he has only played a few so will reserve overall judgement till he has played a few more.

The positive is we won the game, got the 3 points so a good weekend overall for us. I won't be sitting through the recording or "highlights" (That is stretching it a bit) on Sportscene.

Timmy, you are at the wum? You can be as negative as anyone, fans are allowed to disagree to be fair, that said I did enjoy it today as I enjoy us winning but let's not negate of, and when we don't at well mateπŸ‘

Hate agreeing with Timmy but there's a lot of entitlement in the Celtic support.

It's 11vs11 and we have no devine right to win let alone do it in style.

This season has been a mixed bag in terms of good football, but it could be a hell of a lot worse so I'm not sure why so many seem to focus on the negatives.

Yup think that sums up the many, not just on here but the supporters in general. They can be infuriating and I think it is all the worse when (apart from Valencia) we look fantastic at times playing high tempo football at home and when you watch the away games we regularly look awful ad play at such a slow tempo it drives you mad cos you know that slow build up and lack of incisive driving football doesn't open teams up.

In the great scheme of things, if and when Celtic, win 8iar, the football on display today will matter not one jot. We won - it's another three feckin points, and at this time of the season that is really all that matters.

Would you rather we lost but played brilliantly???

posted on 17/2/19

Ralston is the best RB at the club.

Today was magic, you just can't beat a late winner.

Timmy you are fooking at the madam. When we played well the other week you were being the most negative poster on here. So here we are played terrible and you do the role reversal. You are definitely a wum account..

As for negative comments it's a facking forum and if anybody who went or watched on tv wants to criticise we WILL and make no apologies for it. In the same way we praise the team for good performances. That's facking normal behaviour.

See this never criticise the team in public malarky FFS it belongs back in the 70s and 80s when I first went to the games.

Reality check. We have found it difficult to beat Kilmarnock at Rugby Park many times. Remember the last gasp goals from Nakamura and Rogic?

Even in the Stein years we had bad patches and yet went on to win leagues, cups and European ties. We were not always at our best.

Today we huffed and puffed and kept at it until the end. Yes we got lucky but how many times have we hammered teams and we’re unlucky?
