Just seen Brown and Broadfoot’s tackles.
Brown’s was probably a red as well to be fair, for away with that.
Broadfoot’s is a red, shocker
Brown when he gets the red card is hilarious, just waltzed offI didn’t know he was sent off until full time

We never knew until we were in the car

To busy moaning to notice?

Nope.
Happily celebrating.

Good good, bring some of that on here.

Am I less of a supporter for voicing my frustration at our team?
I’m delighted with the win but I’m not impressed with our style of football not our tepid and inept displays.
That’s all

Are you less of a supporter?
No, just more of a bore

Aye agree , we were brutal today
But today was about getting the job done and there's no better way than a goal in the final minute by that useless fcker
We would all love it to be utopian football but it simply can't always be .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agree with most of that.
I don’t think we’ve played great football a lot this season-I think we’ve been better since the turn of the year-Valencia apart-but until today we hadn’t played any particularly good teams. St Johnstone are a fairly stuffy team, so to beat them 3 times, including once at their ground, and not concede in any of the games was good going.
I don’t think we give other teams enough credit for being well drilled, or for upping their game against us. I also don’t think we acknowledge how difficult in can sometimes be to constantly play against really negative styles of football.
I’d rather be winning, and not playing great football, than not winning and still not playing great football.

You’d be right if you were disappointed in your game but the big picture is that Celtic have won a game against Kilmarnock on their horrible pitch with their horrible game plan, with a schitey last minute goal after they went down to ten men. That’s what you need to win championships.
Also part of the big picture is you can forget about doing great things in Europe because our league doesn’t prepare Scottish teams for it, and that’s the way it’s going to be until Scotland produces enough talent, interest and dough in order for our league to be any kind of competitive force, and I don’t see that changing for a long time.

Yep agree with timmy too.
Sometimes you can play silky football and roll over teams and sometimes you need to ride your luck and dig it out, no more so than against a really well organised Killie team with a damn good manager on an embarrassment of a pitch after a disappointing Euro game.
We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target although we were badly beaten on corners and fouls
And yet it wasn't good enough??? Entitlement, complacency lack of respect for the opposition, call it what you will but some of us still remember the last time we didn't win the league, the real dull and uninspiring Ronnie years and not being invincible and not going for a treble treble!!!!!
These are hard time indeed...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think I’ve seen more bad times at Celtic than probably most on here.
It’s not the “sometimes” though is it? It’s most of the time. We don’t play silky football much these days at all and that’s been the case for the last season and a half.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Common now teams are wiser to us, defend for their lives and being in 4 competitions takes it toll with injuries loss of form etc even with half the team either injured, tired or off form we are still miles ahead in points and 'silky' football.. what other team would you rather be watching? We scored about 28 goals and conceded none domestically!!
I think we have a good team packed with talent and on form and on their day (5-0 against St J) we are a joy to watch, even Barca grind out half the season! Sorry ging, it's entitlement. I would rather fight hard if we cant get our silky football flowing... and still win

Yeah I get that but I genuinely think we are a far better side than the way we have played for much of this season.
We have the players and squad who are more than capable of changing their game plan when it gets bogged down. We undoubtedly have the talent. I just think BR needs to change things around tactically every now and again when it’s obvious the opposition have us sussed out so early. Everyone was expecting a half time change but nope it just didn’t happen and we laboured on for longer than maybe we should have.
I was absolutely delighted to win there of course. A massive win when probably under the most pressure to perform after another European game and when both our challengers dropped points the day before but truth he told we should be out of sight in this league long before now.

For one thing, most of those books rightly focus mainly on the positives. You wouldn't read a lot of negatives.
Second, I've probably missed less than 20 home games since 1965. I didn't need to read books. You're correct in that there was difficult spells in the stein years...I can remember Jinky getting booed.
the difference is that we didn't have the massive advantage over all the other teams that we have today. During Stein's tenure, several Scottish teams had excellent players and very good sides who could more than hold their own. At various points, Hibs, Dundee, Dunfermline, Aberdeen and, of course, Rangers and others were strong.
We've now gone 18 months with very few strong away performances. Last year at Aberdeen, this year at st Johnstone and a few at Ibrox spring to mind. Other than that, it's a struggle.
People say that other teams have learned how to play against us. It took them about a season to work it out. Rodgers has now had about 18 months to work out how to react to that and hasnt don't it yet. He needs to get his act together.
Like many on here have said if you had given me 8 pts gap and a great chance of a treble treble and another step towards the 10 iar i wouldn't have cared what sort of football we are playing.
Yes, we could have had a better transfer window (although Jan wasn't bad), yes I would like to see us shake it up a bit and not pass from the back every time (glad Gordons being rested ) but it's not like we suffer because of it (0 goals conceded) if that's the price we have to pay to get to 10 then i'm happy with Rodgers, I just accept unless we get lucky then latter stages europe is financially out of our league.
This feel like the way it was under strachan, lennon and ronnie where after 2 seasons the fans think the football get's stale no matter the success in trophies but I would still rather have Brendan at the helm than anyone else i can think of.
‘Though apparently our newest CF isny a baller based on 5 minutes on the pitch the day.’
It’s just my opinion on his YouTube highlights, and the wee bits I saw of him from our reserve game the other day.
Like I said, I’m going to need convincing...

the difference is that we didn't have the massive advantage over all the other teams that we have today.
