Gary Neville was talking up Mourinho the other day after United got beat 4-0 by Everton. The same Neville that was saying he should be sacked before Christmas
----------------------------------------------------------------------
"It was always rising"
ALWAYS? Where is it now? Jupiter?
"2-0 is a dangerous scoreline"
Yeah hope the ref chops off our 2nd goal when we score it
"He had the right to go down"
It was his HUMAN RIGHT. Could have stayed up but decided to con the ref by going down because it was his RIGHT.
Also when a team takes an early lead then the opposition team have more chances after that so the opposition deserved to get something from the game or win. THE OTHER TEAM DIDN'T NEED TO SCORE YOU MONNGGGS. AHHHHHHHHHHH (No offence Hafi)

It evens out over a season.
Anything Jenas says. He's awful.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I love Jenas.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seriously?! He winds me up big time.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I rate Jenas and think his input is pretty knowledgeable most the time however, I do think he gets a bit reactionary when things don't go Spurs way
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Did he not moan the other day that Fulham keep changing their Goalkeeper every week?
Rico has started every Prem game since October
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He also gave off in his analysis of United against Everton when he claimed United had been sucked into a vacuum of negativity for United not being able to defend against Calvert-Lewis and Bernard who are "not the quickest". Bernard is known for his pacey wing play. Calvert-Lewin is one of the quickest players in the league.

If you are born in 2012, how old are you?
I remember Terry butcher co commentating once around the time of coloured boots coming into the game, the team's were coming out and one player had brightly coloured boots on, you could just to say hear butcher say to his co worker "Look at that prat" as he took to the field
What's the name of that LB who used to play for Leeds and Charlton. Danny something.
He was saying something about Spurs' problem being how many games we've drawn this season.
We've drawn 1.
Danny Mills
It's not really a saying but one of my biggest pet hates in Football is when goalkeeper are over praised for a save.
A Keeper makes a save that he should be making, and you hear 'What a save!' .. when in reality if the shot had gone in, it'd be awful goalkeeping.
It's only a great save if it isn't one that should be made.

Depends on which month your birthday is.
“At this moment in time”...so you mean “now”?
That Jason Cundy vid someone posted after Spurs/City CL tie was funny
"You make your own luck"
What does that even mean?
Just a single word for me: “quality”.
I think I made an article on this during the World Cup. Nothing wrong with the word per se, but pundits overuse it and it’s lost all meaning.
“There was no quality on that cross.”
“They’re trying to pass it around but the quality just isn’t there.”
“They’ve got quality in the box.”
Punditry in general is less and less insightful these days, I think. “Quality” allows people to be very unspecific about what they’re describing.
“They’ve been saved by the woodwork”. No, he missed.
A recent phenomenon which has caught on is the ‘in passing’ comment. They’ll be talking about a different aspect of play but love to throw in ‘and what a pass/shot/block that is by the way’.
"Just about onside"
Offside.

"You make your own luck"
What does that even mean?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That one has some truth to it
People always moan about certain teams getting more penalties. It usually goes hand in hand with who is in the box more and who tries to take on defenders more.
That's why the 'bigger' clubs get more. If you're in the box 15 times in a game rather than 3 your bound to have more chance of getting a penalty.
"Ball to hand"
Handball normally is
Pundits love to describe everything with the use of the word “that”.
When they take to that pitch
When they kick that ball etc etc
Also, I don’t know why players don’t get injured more often, as when they do they always come back fitter and stronger
