'breaking news! Arsenal legend says it'd be a great idea if Spurs lost their best player'

Shocker.

In exchange for a few quid and a Man Utd non entity!

As if Spurs would ever be dumb enough to agree to this deal!!

O Keefe now saying Sporting have moved the goalposts but still hope to get the deal done for Porro.

It's interesting that we're the only club that seems to face that issue, as apparently happened with Inter last summer. It's a load of old bollllllocks. It doesn't happen to any other team. It's either Levy haggling over the tiniest detail or his penny pinching annoys people so much they start doing the same back.

He can't accuse other clubs of moving the goalposts. He practically invented the term. Why can't we just get a deal over the line?!

If there's a late swoop by another club, I vote we storm the directors box for the next home game.

Ok Fridge. Good luck with the storming the directors box.

The old moving the goalpost trick. De ja vue. Anyone else not worried another club is not in for him? Obviously, Chelsea are but who are they not interested in?

Keep seeing mentions of Real negotiating a deal for the summer. Hopefully not true and just lazy journalism with Carvajal getting on a bit.

This is exactly it, either Levy up to his old tricks, low balling, moving the goalposts, going back on his word etc, or after years of dealing with Levy and his reputation, clubs are now giving him some of his own medicine.

Levy out either way.

Gordon to Toon for £40m…

Make no mistake very glad to stay not us doing
the business, but watch him absolutely tear it up for them.

I think he's worth 40m in today's market, definitely. He'll be steady at the very least. For sure he'll look better in a better team

Definitely looks like someone who will go up a level playing with better players

Looks a good price in the stupid market that now exists

We need better homegrown players so would have jumped at him for that money

posted on 28/1/23

Rather him than Danjuma, the guy has pace to burn, would be brilliant in a counter attack.

McKennie going to Leeds whilst we have PEH, tragic.

Fabrizio has ruled us out for Skriniar, saying we would struggle to match the 150k a week, we’re paying Peresic 180k week, surely we can afford it

posted on 28/1/23

Do you think McKennie is much better than Hojbjerg? I don't

posted on 28/1/23

Fabrizio talking out of his arris. Wages don't matter as he clearly wants PSG

I wouldn't be surprised if Titty tries a late one for McKennie.

#Tottenham have submitted a verbal offer of €25m for Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapié. @BILD_Sport

posted on 29/1/23

21 years old, can play left back or CB. Has a decent profile. Can't be no worse than Davies or Lenglet.

posted on 29/1/23

I swear I read a while back the Leverkusen manager saying Hincapie is still learning the game etc and that he isn't ready for a big move. Now they want 60m or summink?

Sod that. I'm all for Levy loosening the purse strings but we don't need to get bent over for a prospect.
