I don't think Kane would go to Chelsea. He would know the importance of steering clear of a club like that when you're a Spurs legend. And besides Chelsea can't guarantee trophies at the moment. The only one that does in the PL is City, and having been denied a chance to go there and since seeing them get Haaland and win a treble it's probably gone and reinforced his belief that somewhere abroad is the only realistic chance of winning major honours, hence Bayern, if true.

Exactly. But right here, right now, we are in too much of a mess to allow Kane to leave. There is just too much to do. This squad is a complete unbalanced mess. It’s a combination of four failed managers players mashed together and now we have another coach with yet another philosophy that doesn’t fit half the current playing staff

We simply cannot replace Kane on top of all the other work that needs doing.

I don’t want levy being in charge of replacing Kane either. It would be a disaster.

He isn't about the money though. He wants trophies and competing for the CL. Chelsea don't really guarantee that right now, and he knows better than to go there.

That’s because there was little competition. Look, I love loris. He was a fantastic servant to our club. But it’s been obvious for years he was on a downward scale and we did nothing about it. Now we’ve gambled on a guy from the Italian league to just walk in and replace him.

I hope it works, but it’s not how it should have been done.

Agreed. But it is what it is. Sure we should've done it differently but they doesn't mean we can ignore the problem. We've signed the Serie A keeper of the season all the clubs in Italy were looking at. He's basically the Italian Nick Pope.

Might all be rubbish and I hope it is because I want to see him with us for another season and see if our new manager and playing style (maybe even winning something) can encourage him to stay once he assesses his options at the end of next season.

If it isn't and he wants to go and does, then big alteration to our summer plans. Need a couple of strikers or more.

The problem is we have a defence that let in 60 plus goals. That is the priority. Must be. We cannot start another season with dier and Sanchez. It’s suicide
