Another 6 or 8 weeks and Levy may agree a fee for Maddison

No? I think for that kind of money it's a decent deal. Certainly better than 55m for Mount. I could see him being with us till he retires

I'd say both Maddison and Mount are worth the prices touted nowadays

I wouldn't pay north of 50m for Mount

The meltdown would be epic.

Surprised there are no links to other similar players to put extra pressure on Leicester. Rumblings of Scott and Hatate aren't at the same level.

Also this Maddison talk has been going on for about a month and we are only at the bid stage? Classic

Isn’t that the stage before you sign them.

England duty and now on holiday plus waiting for ange to approve and Leicester to give us a value etc.

After Raya, it's best not to get your hopes up.

Seems like this has been on the cards for so long no one else is going to really try battling for Maddison. It's about trying to get the fee down while everyone not falling out with Leicester

Oh shoot. My hopes were right up then. I'll let them down a bit
