Don't blame Kane. It's the sensible decision from his point of view, being able to assess things in a year's time and having more offers on the table.

If Levy had hair he might be bald all over again from pulling his hair out at Kane deciding he wants to stay after all.

If he stays he's got to sign an extension

And if Kane stays, the constant attention around his future will not go away, but this is the path we wanted IF he stays.

I think he's going to sign an extension. More money but with a reasonable release clause that kicks in at the end of next season, say 50-60m.

If I was Ange I would be on the treadmill with Phenon, he was looking porky the other night.

He could leave on a free but I think he's too honourable to do that.

A side note but villa are doing our summer 20/21 transfer window that failed

Rubbish. If he leaves for free he is well within his right to do so without any negativity. If we fail this season who could blame him?

For me it’s really on a Kane knife edge

Keep him I think we’ll push for top 5
Lose him I think we’ll be around 8th.


Kane goes we need to go all out for a top CB and FW
Keep him we just need a good CB

No, I wouldn't hold it against him at all but I just think he's so honourable, too honourable in fact, that he would be encouraged to sign an extension to keep everyone happy.

He's not the kind of character to happily run a deal down to spite a club. Toxicity doesn't sit well with him so I think he will sign one, only a short one, just to keep the peace. Whether he should is another thing...

A player that scores 5 from 10 chances is clinical.

A player that scores 15 in 50 isn't clinical but gets in the right positions to get those chances.

Of the two, I'd go for the first one because the number of chances can increase depending on the team you play for but if you're not clinical, you never will be. There's far greater potential in the first than there is the second. How others can't see that is beyond me.

He will touch the ball like 13 times in game, get 5 chances, and score 3

That's unreal

The rest of his game is meh, but that's irrelevant when the rest of the team is doing the rest of the work for you
