We can't have too much expectation now. If we even qualify for the conference league, we'll be doing well.

Yeah I agree I think he's gone as well
It's heartbreaking and frustrating because Ange no doubt has been using him in preseason the way he was with rhe expectation that he was staying
Now he's got fackin Richarlison up front for the season
Fackin Richarlison, man. Jesus christ
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not necessarily.
Transfer window is still open, and then there’s January, plus we have that new kid.
idk why people are so low on richarlison

🚨| Harry Kane to Bayern Munich is a long way from being done. Kane is still leaning towards staying at #Tottenham at the moment! @SkyKaveh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems ridiculous that he may not have decided?
How long is this sorry farce going to be dragged out for?

Kaveh is obvs coys, has been clutching the whole window

Moderate pain now with a truck load of cash.
or...
Intense pain and no money next summer.
That's the reality. We accept this deal now we get money and he's out of sight and not scoring goals for a rival every week. Let him go for free and we get nothing and the indignity of him scoring for a rival against us.
Believe it or not, this is the best case scenario given the circumstances. It's just hard to see it now. Him signing a new deal was just pie in the sky to be honest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure that's right, intense now as have new manager and lots of new players he is trying to integrate into a team, next summer a more settled manager and squad hopefully
Arsenal signing Raya and United signing Tapsoba would be nice icing on the cake

Possible opening for Hugo Real Madris with Courtois being ruled out for the season.
Seen something on twitter indicating Kane wants to see out his contract and Levy accepted the offer. Both Levy and Bayern trying to convince him to go 🤯

he scored a hat trick like 2 weeks a go
he scored 13 pl goals in back to back years for faaacking Everton, he can easily get 15-20 for us and be a good player.
people think that if you're not a good finisher then you're automatically some disastrous striker but that's just one part of goal scoring - Richarlison is excellent at getting on the end of stuff.
Look at Jesus at arsenal - he might be the worst finishing striker in the league but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a positive impact on them.

the reporting for the last few weeks was that he would not want to go after the Brentford game. I don't imagine that was completely binary, and it being just a few days that deadline surely matters to him
Like Ange said, the only deadline is end of the window. Bayern and Kane's deadlines don't matter.
Even if Kane turns round today and says he is staying, Levy might try to sell him to Chelsea or Utd. Anything could happen. Anything.

Id play Son up front and Solomon off the left with what we currently have
I'm not a fan of Richy, everyone knows that. Replacing your best ever striker with someone who at his very best has only ever got 13 goals playing every minute of every game practically, is underwhelming, particularly when you factor in that Everton's style of play was geared towards getting the best out of him. This is not to mention he only got 1 goal last year.
The truth is though it doesn't matter who we get. It'll be the impossible job. It's the David Moyes after Alex Ferguson syndrome. They're gonna need a lot of patience and a hell of a lot more goals from other areas to help them out.
