what a glorious day it will be when he's sacked

Haters gotta hate.
Sometimes a manager comes to a club at the right time, other times a manager just loses some of his hunger or ability over time. I think for Poch it's a little of both since Spurs. Not to say he couldn't do a good job at a club again but it's naive to think he could come back to Spurs and we'd see the highs that we first saw with him, and more.
We are already where we need to be with Ange and it's exciting to see the progress. Another manager shouldn't be in any fan's mind right now.

I seem to remember reading stats that it's incredibly rare for managers to have more than 10 or so years at the top level - sort of like their peak shelf life before football trends move on and they get left behind the curve a bit. Managers like Guardiola and Ferguson being all the more exceptional because of how much they buck that trend.
Even the likes of Conte and Mourinho who FEEL like they've been around forever... You look at their careers and it's hard to argue they've genuinely been at the absolute pinnacle of management for more than 10 or so years. Nowadays they're clearly a step behind the best.
Pochettino has been in mamagement for ~14 years now - I suppose there's an argument that he's yet to peak, but it feels unlikely somehow. Feels more like he peaked a few years back (possibly even at Spurs) and even then he was maybe a step behind the best-of-the-best.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you even remember his/our last season at The Lane?
Christ, if Ange comes even close to hitting those highs I’ll be f*cking ecstatic.
Even the likes of Klopp you could say isn't quite at the forefront any more. It's like managers get one chance to go big on developing their own revolutionary style of play, and maybe they see success with it before the rest of the world figures out how to copy or counter it - and then it's far harder for a manager to repeat the trick and start over with a new philosophy. Instead they persevere with what they know, which (see: Conte, Mourinho, Pochettino) doesn't work quite as well today as it did in their golden years.
Klopp might be a bad example but you certainly don't hear as much about his revolutionary gegenpress any more - obviously because it's NOT revolutionary any more, but also because it's not a win-button like it used to be and Liverpool's new style isn't quite as unique - but then, Liverpool may well win several titles this year so he's obviously still got something about him.
Also not sure how evergreen managers like Ancelotti fit into this theory. Is he one of the exceptions like Pep or Fergie, or is he just another example that proves I'm talking ballacks?
Who knows

What do we consider a peak for a manager to be? Is it what their best managerial achievement in football was, cause then for someone like Ranieri who had been around the game for donkey's years, he surely hit his peak when he went to Leicester.
Obviously it differs from a player because a player is physically involved and they have stats that directly reflect their performance. Managers are behind the scenes overseeing things.
Fair question. I suppose I'm talking about managers who introduce new tactics or methods that "change the game" and bring about a new way football is played across Europe. Like Wenger at Arsenal, Mourinho at Chelsea first time, Conte at Juve/Inter, Guardiola at Barca/City
Maybe such a small subset that it loses any real meaning in a wider sense, I guess
In that one season we scored our most goals of any season in the prem, AND conceded the least goals of any season in the prem, and still didn't win it
Damn good side though.

I think generally speaking it's fair to say most people's peaks whether it be in football or anything in life, is not when they're old, or in the later days of their professions. Their best years come in the first half of their careers not in the latter half and a lot of it comes down to that passion and hunger for it. Understandably you're going to feel more passionate and hungry when you start out than when you're nearing the end. It's only the real special managers who are able to prolong their peak levels probably for the reason they remain as hungry and passionate as ever.
Not to be a contrarian (and I appreciate this will take a little heat off of sizz and his schizophrenic aimless rambles).
I have a feeling, based off of not very much, that Dragusin will disappoint & at he will be end up being a better Davinson Sanchez.

A better Davinson Sanchez isn't so bad for our 3rd choice CB.
He'll either be good or bad that's for sure. I guess he could be ok. Given Paratici's track record with us and Napoli and Bayern both chasing him, I think he's likely good.
My hot take is that he'll be first choice ahead of Romero by May
