I just just keep hearing 'we already have bodies there' argument
----------
From who? Cut their tongues out.
Yeah agree with you on Werner. Kind of forgot we signed him. Glad it's a loan only and we could potentially have Moore waiting in the wings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wasn't it you that said we don't need a striker because we've got loads already?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep and I stand by it. I believe in Kulu. That's one position.
No Back Up Keeper, RB, LCB, LB, RW and CM.
We need to buy 6 positions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I believe in Austin and Bergvall and Skipp and Phillips
#Tottenham are amongst clubs looking at Archie Gray
@TheAthleticFC
Excellent
We 100% need another striker… especially if we are playing in Europe, next season…
In my opinion, we definitely need a top class wide forward, as apart from Son… none are world class.
Holbjerg will need replacing…
As will Emerson Royal & Davies
We should be all over Lloyd Kelly on a free…
Lloyd Kelly already gone to Newcastle

'They all look the same' weren't it? Pretty shoddy from Bentancur

Son will probably cry abit then forgive him with a handshake.
POK
Understand Crystal Palace' current stance on Eberechi Eze is that any club will need to be prepared to pay a considerable amount of the fee up-front. A fee that in total could exceed £60m.
On release clauses. Worth noting that 'triggering' the amount only gains you permission to speak to the player. The specific details can vary such as X amount initial payment, whereas others might have a specific value. They can often be poorly drafted and open to interpretation.
Bet Son won’t even care about it
Different cultures init. Doesn’t make it right but don’t need to overboard either.
He realised, he learnt, he apologised
That's a very fair and balanced view. Personally I'd have literally crucified him

exactly. just a fact that some people are less able to distinguish between faces of different ethnicities. No harm in making a joke out of it. What's to be offended by the fact that someone thinks I look like the other white folk?
we're just programmed to find grievous offence at anything in the UK.
It's an ignorant thing to say about any race of people regardless what race you are. Also context is important. As a visible minority, those kind of comments are often based in racism.
I bet Bentancur wouldn't say that in an interview on our Asia tour.
there's bigger things in the world to be worried about, and bigger personal problems to deal with for the vast majority of people.
if you get upset by someone saying everyone in your race looks the same, then life's going to be an ordeal.
There's always bigger problems, doesn't mean you ignore everything except the biggest. And I think it's perfectly reasonable to say this isn't okay without acting like it's the biggest thing ever. The issue here is the binary nature of online chatter, not the calling out of outdated 'banter' that's not okay let alone funny or clever.
I mean, casual racism like was normal in Britain in the 70s and 80s wasn't the biggest issue in the world right? People were starving to death in Africa. Fix both.
I agree context makes a difference.
If it's somehow part of general bullying/unpleasantness and said derogatorily, then it's no less unacceptable than any other part of that bullying (and according to our culture and laws in the UK and some other western countries, much more unacceptable in fact).
if it's not intended to be hurtful though, then just take it in good faith and pass it off or use it as a discussion point. Why would it not be 'OK' if it wasn't meant in a hurtful way? What's offensive about it per se?
I can't speak to the culture of Uruguay but clearly Asians would be in a minority there, and clearly it's pretty normal and acceptable to make a joke like that there. But let's take the UK as a country where Asians are a visible minority and it was ok to make comments like that in the past. Why isn't it now? Because as a culture we've agreed that it's not ok to make derogatory comments about the appearance of different races. Why the fack would you want to anyway? Think of something better to say. What are you even fighting for at this point? The right to be a basic biitch?
